"Alright guys this our new employee, Santana!" I just stood there. These people look boring as all fuck. I want to go home. "Ayo why you dress like that my guy?" This tall guy with some kind of 'crew' around him laughing said. First. I havent done anything to feed my power in a while so maybe a fight should get the ball rolling. "You got a fucking problem with me dude?" I said walking up to them. "Jacob! You two knock it off! Kinzey!" This girl walks up from behind everyone and pushes up her glasses acting really shy.
"I need you to show Santana around today, would you mind?". "Oh- Um no no thats not a problem at all" Awwww look at her shes so cute! I wanna kill her. I can only imagine how much power i'd get from killing someone so innocent as her! Just thinking about it made my eyes glow a bit red. "Um hey are you okay your eyes are....a kinda red?" Kinzey mumbled. "You gotta speak up for me" I said just to fuck with her to see if i could get any power off without touching her sadly my powers were still too weak. "Im sorry, i asked if you were okay? Your eyes kind of started getting red but its gone now" She said louder yet still quiet.
"Yea im fine just ah got a headache"I said with a smile. "Well um, over there is the stock for restocking the shelves out there! and ummm over there is the cargo hold but we rarely use that because no one really shops here" Kinzey said stumbling on her words looking back and forth at me. " Hey um, i have a question?" She said looking away. " No im not attracted to you dont worry" I said quickly. "Ohhh.. um thats awkward i was gonna ask about your teeth...they're strangely sharp" She said pushing up her glasses.
"Oh yea i was born like that" I really dont know what else to tell her. "Hey loverboy!" I heard in the background after something hit the floor. "You said we had a problem right?" This absolute fuckboy 'jAcOb' starts walking towards us. "leave him alone jacob!" Kinzey shouted as loud as id heard her speak. Ma'am this isnt a 90's bullying movie... "Fuck can i take my shoes off first?" Jacob swung at me. He blindsided me and ended up hitting me. The amount of adrenaline i felt coursing through my right arm as i swung felt so good! He felt that first hit im sure of it, i have to remember to use less power fighting against humans a little more force and i couldve killed him then this random manager lady walked up and said "Guys what the fuck i dont get paid enough to babysit children act like adults"
Kinzey tugged on my arm and said "your allergies? are acting up, wanna take a walk?" I followed her about a block or two without speaking then asked where we were going and she said to get food and go back to her place. Thats kind of weird but hey im down for whatever if i get her alone i can kill her! or maybe just hurt her i could feed far more power off that! We grab carry out food and we go back to her apartment building. We sat on the steps conversing about what brought us to the town and why we took the job and whatnot.
After maybe a couple minutes she stood up and mumbled..
"hey do you uh wanna come in maybe?"
