chapter one: first day

Y/n's pov

I'm standing right in the center of it all something's happening I don't know what but it doesn't feel good a black cloud starts forming its getting increasingly large and coming towards me "oh heavens what in the world is happening" the cloud is consuming everything in its path the sky's turn gray thunder and lightning follows "this is not natural" I turn around and start running, running as fast as I can I hear screams it's awful I turn to look people are getting consumed, sucked in and I'm running away saving myself without any hesitation. "does it make a bad person?" Even though I look back I don't stop, I can't stop running I won't stop running 'I don't want to die' I continue running I see a cave I head towards this cave the black cloud follows almost as if it's after me.

" NO MATTER WHERE I GO I'M ALWAYS GONNA WANT YOU BACK NO MATTER HOW LONG YOUR GONE IM ALWAYS GONNA WANT YOU BACK"

"Ugh" I wake from my dream from the sound of my alarm I get out of bed and head to the bathroom take a bath and brush my teeth.
I start looking for an outfit to wear and finally settle on one

(OMW what do 11-year-olds even wear these days coz some of them are very mature lol)

"Come now Y/n you're going to miss the train all your stuff is already down here " my mom screams "sometimes I think she wants me to got to Hogwarts so she can have the house to herself" I run down the stairs and see my mom outside putting everything in the SUV she uses a spell to shrink my stuff so it's easier.

Mom and I live in the muggle world she says it's for our protection but never tells me from what today is my first day at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry I'm very excited I've only ever read about the wizarding world from all the books my mom has I cant wait to finally get there

We finally arrived at platform 9¾ my mom trailed off ahead while I took everything in, so many new things when a voice snaps me out of my haze

"That's Scorpius Malfoy Rosie you make sure to beat him in school oh and keep your distance he's trouble okay sweetie," a red head man says to who I assume is his daughter I turn to look in the direction they're looking at and I see a boy with as white as ice hair, "I wonder what's so bad about him??" I decided to leave the father and daughter to their conversation not wanting to intrude anymore

Eventually after aimlessly wondering I find my  mother by the entrance of the train waiting for me

I haven't found a compartment yet mom always said I canT just chose any compartment she said its almost like a ritual to find your compartment because the people that will make a difference in your life suddenly I hear a voice

"Cmon Albus let's go your father wouldn't like this do you even know who this is" I follow the voice and find a compartment the redhead girl and white-haired boy from earlier are there it seems like she's trying to convince the other boy Albus I think his name was to go to another compartment "he's a Malfoy Albus you can not trust him"  "wow she's pissing me off "  I step closer so that I am right next to the redhead Rosie or whatever her name is "hey excuse but you're blocking the way if you're not going to sit here then please leave and if your friend wants to stay then let him your not his mother," I say  she scoffs and walks away but stops midway "aren't you coming to Albus," she says as she looks back I turn to face Albus for a moment I swear he was going to say yes almost like he's never said no before but then "no I'll stay here you can go I'm good"
I heard him say I wasn't surprised by this anyone could tell he didn't want to go with her well except for her of course.

Albus and I took our seats Albus sat next to the white-haired boy while I sat across from them "so I'm Scorpius Draco Malfoy" the white-haired boy said, "I'm y/n Harris  nice to meet you both if you don't mind me asking what was all that about?" They both looked utterly shocked as if I was behind on the latest gossip of the week "so you're saying you don't know us?" Albus asks "unless your a famous actor then why should I care?" I thought to myself

"no-no, I don't know you am I supposed to?" They both keep staring as if I'm matty ratty from tvd and their baffled on how I exist "no it's just everyone knows the potters and the Malfoy's but you don't " Malfoy say "don't be dumb of course I know who the potters and Malfoy's I've read all about them in the ancient bloodline book it's just I don't know what the two family's have been up to ever since your great-great grandfather's died anyways are you guys like enemies or something because that girl was annoying but she did have quite the problem with Malfoy "

Albus finally speaks only to say that their dads were enemies back in school and the family's hate each other.

Time skip
We arrived at the castle and were  greeted by headmistress Mcgonagall "wow I wonder how old she is"  we walked till we reached a bunch of stairs "now students you will be sorted into your house, your house will be like your family you can earn points and lose points now let's go" the doors open and we all walk inside

"Okay first up is rose Weasley" rose walks up to the hat and in a blink of an eye the hat replies "Gryffindor!"

Magonagall :scorpius draco malfoy

The hat: Slytherin

Rose: can't say I'm surprised of course he's in Slytherin 

McGonagall: newt Scamander (to be clear newt is the great-great-grandson to the original Newton Artemis Fido Scamander)

Hat: Hufflepuff

Magonagall: Albus potter

For a moment the whole hall goes quiet and all eyes are on albus "seriously who is this guy I mean like what's the deal?"

Hat: mmmmh interesting very interesting Albus potter I know just what to do with you Slytherin

Suddenly the whole hall is filled with gasps and whispers when suddenly "there must be a mistake this is outrageous " rose shouts all eyes turn to her "the hat makes no mistakes ms Weasley now shall we continue" Albus takes his seat at the Slytherin table alongside Severus and I swear even I could feel rose shooting daggers at  Malfoy

Magonagall : now Y/n Harris

I step forward and the professor place the sorting hat on my head

Hat: mmmmh harris is that right? I've been waiting for you your special yes and smart mhmm and strong, yes I know you're house will be SLYTHERIN, GRYFFINDOR, HUFFLEPUFF, RAVENCLAW

"What is that even possible?"
All eyes fall on me and It feels like a thousand daggers piercing through me

McGonagall hands the sheet of names to one of the other teachers then taps my shoulder and guides me to her office while the others continue with the sorting ceremony
