The sun dully shone against a thicket of fog that had settled over the sleepy town of Musutafu. The town had a rather peaceful quiet, which was unusual since the crime rate in that area had skyrocketed in the past months. A boy bursting with energy could be seen dragging out his disgruntled mother out into their yard. The lean, green-haired woman scooped the boy up into her arms and placed him down in their little red car.
''Izuku, I doubt the hospital will be open at this hour, why don't we just go back to bed?'' The woman stifled a yawn, and wearily buckled her child in, knowing full well that his answer would be-''No!'' the child shouted, his bright emerald eyes shining with indignation.
''I want to know what my quirk is, I need to know! You said it should have shown up by now...'' The mother sighed and gently patted the child's expansive mass of green hair. ''Ok Izuku. The doctors gonna show us what your quirk is alright?'' ''I hope it's as cool as Kaachan's! '' The child proceeded to repeatedly chant ''boom boom'' as he menacingly waved his hands in the air. His mother laughed at the child's antics and smiled to herself.
The car sped along the road, plowing steadily on to the appointment that would seal the child's fate.
