Flyers

The remaining of the school day was like any ordinary day, except you didn't talk to Renjiro or Emiko like you used to.

If you were being honest with yourself, you didn't miss them at all but you missed the good memories you shared with them.

Renjiro was your first love, so of course it was gonna hurt when you called things off, but you just kept thinking about all the bad things he's done and said and just try to move on.

Emiko had messaged you another apology but you just ignored her message as you didn't care anymore.
You have done nothing but shown her kindness and love, and she only pays you back with backstabbing and heart ache.

You kept replaying what Kenma said this morning to you.
"And don't forget.. You won't be alone y/n.. B-because you have me.."

You would smile to yourself when you replayed his small smile in your head.

You've known Kenma and Kuroo for a long time, as long as you and Emiko have been friends.
Yes you didn't really talk to them but knowing that they're on your side makes you feel better.

But even though Kenma said those words to you for the second time now, you have never felt more alone then you did right now.
A single thought had run its course through your mind...did he only say that out of pity?

Your mind couldn't help but think about the old memories with Emiko and Renjiro.
The laughed and smiled you all shared, but the more you thought about it, the more it made sense as to why he cheated on you with her.

You also felt as if something was wrong with you, that something was making you incapable of someone loving you.
You wondered where you went wrong and how you could've changed things for the better.

But it was a never ending roller-coaster the more you thought about it that way.
Only making you grow more upset and frustrated.

Your thoughts were snapped back to reality when you heard you were dismissed for lunch.

You grabbed your bag with your lunch inside, dying to go outside since the class room has felt suffocating to you.
You needed fresh air.

Kenma's POV.

I watched Y/n zone and in out of her thought all day.
From what I'm assuming she's heart broken from the breakup with not only her boyfriend, but her best friend too.

I couldn't help but get lost in my own thoughts just like her.

I remember back in middle school, when Emiko and Kuroo had introduced y/n and I.
She stood in front of me with a smile but she was also fiddling with her fingers.

She was shy but it was cute.

When Kuroo's sister would have y/n over, we'd speak a couple of words.
I would always see in the corner of my eye of her watching the TV of the game Kuroo and I were playing.

I assumed she would be just like Emiko, very talkative, annoying and sassy.
But y/n was the polar opposite.
She was timid and shy, she was always smiling even when she was hurt.

Not once have I seen here this bad.
I would always, no matter what see a twinkle in her eyes when she smiled, but now there's nothing but emptiness.
Even her smile has faded.

It hurt me beyond words to see her like this and to know it was because she was pulled into the wrong crowd.

I meant it when I said that she had me as a friend.
For a while now, I've wanted to take her away from those toxic people, but I'm just disappointed in myself that I let it go this far...

Y/n had rushed out of the classroom faster than I could try to invite her to eat lunch with Kuroo and I.
I'm assuming she just needed air, which I don't blame her.
Sometimes these four walls can make anyone go crazy.
Especially when you're overthinking.

Not once had I pulled out my phone since this morning before I saw y/n, and for once, I don't have a urge to play.

I followed suit like her and walked out of the classroom to find Kuroo.

On my way though my attention was taken to a flyer on the wall.
It was bright yellow with the words:
L/N Y/N is a cheating B***h

My first instinct was to rip down the flyer and scrunch it up into my hands.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read those words.
I could only assume it was Renjiro who wrote this.
And I can assume that there's more around the school.

I have to find Kuroo so he can help me take these all down.. Oh God... I hope she didn't see this.. Please don't let her see this...

I made my way to the third year wing and there stood Kuroo, he was looking at a cluster of the flyers that hung on a series of lockers.

I walked faster as my eyes stayed in the flyers.
It looked like there was about five pages, all taped together in a cluster.

I had ended up walking right into a stunned Kuroo.
I didn't hesitate to rip down all the flyers in one fast swipe.

"You think she saw these?.."Kuroo said in a lost tone.

"I hope not.. But if there all around the school like this...then I can only assume.."

"We better go see if she's okay.."

I shook my head. "I think we better take down all these flyers..I wanna see if we can catch the one doing this."

"Did something happen?" Kuroo finally snapped out of his thought and he looked down to me, his eyes were filled with worry.

I nodded to him.
"Y/n broke up with Renjiro, and called off being friends with your sister."

"You think they did this?"

"Like I said before...I can only assume Kuroo..."
