Sam's P.O.V

I woke up in my house. Well, Van in an alley more like but that doesn't matter. I woke up due to my sister's voice and saw her making another compilation of how S.H.I.E.L.D was bad. When she had finished she turned around and faced me. "Sam your awake finally. You would not believe what I saw today." She exclaimed. I could tell she was excited. Skye passed her phone to me and I took a look at it. My eyes widened and a smile appeared on my face.

"This is amazing." I beamed. Skye looked at me with an agreeing but a bit of a concerned face probably not getting what part I meant was amazing. "Okay, it's not amazing about the explosion, fire and that lady getting hurt but. That man. Do you know who it is yet?" I questioned her.

Skye looked back at her computer and started typing on it. Skye was a hacker. A really good one. She even taught me how to be one and I'm a pretty good one. I jumped forward in the Van when I saw that she had a persons name and information on the screen. "Mike Peterson." I read out from the screen.

"Yeah, Mike," Skye added. She scrolled down to see other parts of his profile like Family, Places he usually visits, jobs/ex-jobs, Hospital notices, address etc. "He had a wife but she left when he got laid off because of an injury. Has a son. And the job he used to work at a factory near here." She finished.

"Well then." I returned with a smirk plastered across my face. "Let's go get him," I stated before opening the door to the van and jumping out Skye following shortly behind.

"You know. You have way too much energy for somebody who woke up like 5 minutes ago." Skye acknowledged. I knew what she said was true but I always had too much energy no matter what time I went to sleep or woke up.

I ignored her comment after that and just went to the topic that was still shouting out in my mind. "Where do we find Mike?" I asked Skye as the two of us walked out of the alley and onto the sidewalk.

"Ruthie's Skillet," Skye answered. "You know just the place we eat basically our 3 meals a day in." Skye remarked and gave me a glare that I was only able to translate to 'Its the only good cheap place near here where else would he go you idiot'

I folded my arms and rolled my eyes. "I'm not an idiot," I murmured. Although I wasn't quite enough because Skye was able to hear me.

"How HOW. Are you so good at reading people?" Skye asked in amazement.

"WELL, I DON'T KNOW SKYE. IT'S LIKE HOW YOUR NATURALLY TALENTED AT HACKING READING PEOPLE JUST COMES EASY TO ME." I yelled. Maybe a bit too loud as lots of people surrounding us stopped walking, turned around and stared blankly at me. You really did not want to get attention when you live in New York City.

I was still looking around and glaring at everyone staring at me when Skye slapped me on my arm making me sharply turn my head. "What?" I asked her.

Skye subtly pointed to a man. I looked up to him to see it was our man. It was Mike and he was walking into Ruthie's Skillet. "Come on let's go," Skye uttered before marching in front of me and walked into Ruthie's Skillet.

"Yeah I'm also really hungry so I'll get lunch," I said before starting to slowly walk into the diner again. "Oh thank you, dear sister. I will repay you one day." I mocked Skye before slamming the door open and walking inside
