The ambulance arrived, and they let me ride in the back with him.

"Are you his girlfriend? Do you know his family or how to contact them?" The paramedics asked.

"No- I- we barley know each other. All I know is that his name is Louis Partridge. He hit his head and I offered to help. I cleaned up his cuts but then the stupid kid just passed out." I rant.

"Well we are gonna contact family. Your more then welcome to check up on him if you'd like."

When we arrived, I followed them into the hospital.

"Come with me love." I nurse said. She lead me to the waiting room.

I sat, tapping my foot for a while. When I notice the sun started to come up, I finally decided to call Kate. They are probably worried sick.

"Can I use your phone?" I ask the lady at the front desk. She nods and hands it to me.

I dial in Kate's number.

"Hello?" She answers frantically.

"Kate! It's Eden. I'm at the hospital right now. Can you come? I'll explain everything when you get here."

"Yes but are you-" she was cut off by me hanging up.

"Thanks." I say to the lady and hand back the phone.

I take a seat and wait for her to arrive.

When she does, her and Henry run over to me.

"Oh thank god your okay! Why are you here?" She asks pulling me to my feet and hugging me.

I couldn't help myself. I break down into tears. "I'm sorry. I snuck out to get some air and then a boy named Louis ran into a pole and I helped him and then he passed out and here we are." I cry.

"Oh honey..." she says and wipes my tears.

Another family runs in frantically. "Louis! Where's my Louis?!" The woman asks.

I run to her. "Mrs.Partridge! I'm Eden! I'm so sorry. He ran into a pole and hit his head and then he passed out and I tried to help him but I just-" I was cut off by her pulling me into a hug.

"Excuse me, are you the Partridge family?" A doctor asks, ruining the moment.

"Yes! We all are." I lie. His mom looks at me with furrowed brows, but says nothing.

"Louis is ready to be seen. He's sleeping though so I wouldn't be too loud. Follow me."

Me, his mom, and his dad, all follow the doctor to his room. The second I see the boy laying there in a hospital gown and needles in his arm, I start to cry again.
