Noah
The clock read 5 a.m. and the boy with the now wet curls from taking a bath 1 or 2 hours ago was currently sitting on the attic sofa processing all that had happened that night, while trying (with no success) to ignore his grumbling stomach begging for food.
He hadn't cried in the taxi, he hadn't cried during his brief explanation to his uncle about the situation, but now, silent tears threatened to roll down his face, increasingly blurring his vision. He let them fall down, while slowly bringing both his legs up and wrapping his arms around them, rocking himself back and forth.
Ready to lay back down and attempt to rest he was alarmed by a soft, almost hesitant, knock on the door, followed by then 2 others knock knock knock. Noticing the person on the other side wasn't going to come in, noah took that as a queue to stand up and let them in himself. He opened the door slowly, looking outside while stepping backwards to expand the entrance to whoever was waiting. The green eyed boy met the blue eyes who were showing him to the attic, he should probably start calling it his room, just a few hours ago. "Hi." brows furrowed and a little pout resting on his lips "Hi!" answered william without hesitation, while letting himself in with a side grin threatening to show. "I don't really know why i came in, honestly" the brunette explained in a low raspy voice almost as if he meant not to be heard while scratching the back of his neck. That was the first time noah had actually heard the boy speak, and all he could think of was where is that accent from? Oh and also why is he here?? "Why are you here william?" yes, it sounded rude, but it was 5 a.m. and he hadn't slept, give him a break. The tone in noah's voice made william clearly uncomfortable, shifting his weight to his other leg. "Um" pause "wait, how do you know my name?" the green eyed boy blushed a bit, hoping it wasn't too visible in the dark room, lightly lit by a single lamp standing in the corner. There wasn't a reason to be embarrassed or anything, it wasn't like he wasn't directly told, but either way, it felt weird to be called out for knowing someone's name when the person themselves hadn't said it. "Um." william spoke out, probably wondering why noah had been silent for quite some time. "O-oh" he snapped out of his thoughts "sorry, urm, george mentioned it" "oh" "yeah" "what's your name? You know mine, so it's only fair" haha he's rambling, crossed noah's mind before "noah" william held out his hand alternating glances at noah's eyes and his own hand. The boys shook hands grinning, he has dimples... cute, noah thought "i love your dimples, they're adorable" said william smiling even more and lowering his head slightly, probably trying to hide his blushing cheeks that were still quite apparent hm upfront "why thank you william, i'm quite fond of yours as well" answered noah, and will giggled. GIGGLED. That is officially noah's new favorite sound, and he made it his goal to hear it as much as possible. Shit. we're still shaking hands. The curly one slowly extracted his hand and pushed it in his (well william's cause he lent him a pair) sweatpant's pockets while ducking his head and internally coughing to distract them both from the awkward silence. "Oh, almost forgot, there actually is a reason why i'm here" "oh really?" the curly one was seriously worried about the brunette at this point "yeah" he continued "but let's talk in the kitchen" food food food food, noah internally chanted "your probably starved" thank god "and i for one want to know how a curly lad like you" william paused to put a loose curl behind the green eyed boy's ear "ended up in my house at three in the morning" he continued, looking straight into noah, ear to ear grin taking over his face without a trace of shame. "Hm" the curly one started, "cheeky" pause "i like it" the brunette snorted and proceeded to walk out the door, heading downstairs. Noah stayed where he was letting william walk down the hall, quietly observing the light sway on his hips. You're going to be living with this boy 'till god knows when, stop fucking staring, it's weird! In the meantime, while the green eyed boy attempted to control his eyes, the one with blue eyes had turned around and was smirking "enjoying the view are we?" noah blushed. Hard. he felt the heat rushing to his cheeks, 'cause he was in fact staring. "Urm i" he cleared his throat not wanting william to notice his obvious stammering "yeah, ok" he closed the door behind him and walked past the proud brunette that stared at him still in fact grinning "what can i say" noah said as he turned around but continued heading to the kitchen "you got a nice arse" and winked at william who was now completely taken aback by the curly boy's boldness (little did he know noah was as red as a tomato while he rushed down the stairs).
