Amanda's POV:

I was just transferred up from Atlanta Georgia.
You could say it wasn't the warmest welcome.
My first encounter with Captain Cragen was a run by in an elevator. I ran into him on the way out. You could say I was pretty eager to get started up in New York.
I just handed my stuff of to the first detective I saw and went with the Captain. Seeing how thongs worked was a pretty interesting experience. It was definitely a big change from Atlanta. Working with the squad and getting to the true New York experience was amazing.
Once the case was finished, I headed down to the nearest bar to grab a drink. My first case was a big change from what I did in Atlanta. I thought that I already had met 4 new people while working in this case.
Little did I know, I would meet another person.
The one person who was going through the same thing as me.
