It Was Really Nothing

I woke up in a panic and I couldn't breathe. My whole body was burning but I was just laying in bed. I had a note on my bed, from my dad. He died in a car crash 2 and a half years ago. It said:

My dearest Page,
I'm sorry about what you are going through and I know it's rough. When your mother got you out of the party, you were so overwhelmed that you fainted and were unconscious for a while. Your mother was shot in the back and couldn't make it. I brought you here.
'Dad

All I could do I sit there and stare blankly at the wall. I couldn't even cry because at the same time, I was happy that my dad was still with me after all these years.

The only thing I wonder about is:
I don't have a mom or dad now. Everyone in my family is either dead, or lives so far away I've only met them once or twice. How am I gonna live with just a part time job?
