A few hours have passed since we saved Eren. Right now we were standing about as we watched Eren walk off with the old man. Whilst we watched him walk off, I stood a few feet away from Armin as he was trying to figure out a strategy plan with Mikasa's help.

"Hisako." Captain Himiko appeared and stood in front of me. "Your with me." She ordered before walking off, Yuri and Tatsuo following behind her.

"But my place is with Eren! He's not entirely safe yet!" I argued.

"Hisako!" She snapped, glancing back over her shoulder to glare at me. Her eyes held anger and frustration, but also something else? Once her eyes softened I could tell she had something planned. Something that she needed my aid in. 'She wasn't made Captain for nothing.' I sighed in defeat before following none the less.

Following Captain Himiko across and down the wall, I had my mind on Eren and the others. Especially the other Cadets that seen Eren after we pulled him out of his Titan form, as well as how the rest of the world was going to react to Eren's ability to turn into a Titan. I couldn't seem to get my mind of the millions of scenarios running through my head. Both Yuri and Tatsuo, who were walking on each side of me, noticed this.

"Mother. What exactly is the plan?" Tatsuo asked after we entered a building.

"Well to start. The three of you get your wish. As of now your official members of the Scouts regiment." She smiled proudly as she stood behind a table where three scouts uniforms were neatly laid out in front of us. "Go get changed and then I'll fill you in on the plan." She continued to smile, as she handed us our uniforms. Walking into two different rooms, we went to get changed. It took me a while to finish getting dressed, for I kept looking at the symbol on the back of my jacket. The Wings Of Freedom.

"Hisako?" Yuri placed her hand on my shoulder. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. It's just... For as long as I can remember I've looked up to the scouts and wanted to be one. Now that I finally am!" I smiled till my mother's words played threw my head. 'I don't want any of my children joining the Scouts.' "I just feel like I've let her down." I frowned.

"Let who down?" She asked.

"My mother." I looked at her before facing my jacket once more. "She made us promise that we'd never join the scouts. And yet after she died, I felt like I lost everything and I still tried to join the scouts. Now look at me, a Scout." I traced the wings of the symbol.

"I'm sure your mother was doing what she thought was best to protect you but it's also your life and you have to live it." She smiled warmly. "But I'm sure like any mother, she forgives you."

~Flash Back~

"Hisako!" Mrs Jaeger walked in on me. I sat on the floor, staring at the vibrant red colours drip from my arm to the floor. Dragging a knife against my skin, I watched as more and more of my blood left my body. I stared at it lifelessly as she stood in the door way watching in horror. "Hisako!" She rushed infront of me and dropped to her knees, only to take the knife from me.

"Ha?" I came back to reality when I noticed she cut herself when she took the knife out of my hand. Only, she didn't seem to care or notice the pain she was feeling. She just slid the knife across the room and quickly grabbed the sheet from the bed next to me and used it to wrap around my arm.

"Hey! It's ok." She pulled me in for a hug. Wrapping her arms around me, she held me tightly but yet also softly. He warm embrace warmed my heart, giving me a feeling I've never felt before. "Your safe now. Nothing's ever going to hurt you here. Ok?" She smiled, cherishing my hair in the process. It felt strange at first and it scared me. But after a few seconds I felt all my nerves and fears just disappear.

"Your hurt." I frowned.

"Hm?" She looked at me in confusion till she suddenly flinched in pain. Looking at her hand, she seemed to finally realise that she was hurt. "It's nothing. It's just a scratch." She tried to pass it off as nothing. But looking at my own arm, I grabbed the sheet and ripped the excess in half. "Hisako!?" She gasped, waiting for me to flinch in pain as I put pressure on my arm. "Hisako?" She watched me closely as I took hold on her hand and used the ripped up bit of cloth to bandage her own hand.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"It's ok sweetheart." She smiled warmly. 'Sweetheart?' I was so confused by the new name. "All that matters is that your ok."

"But why? I'm not your daughter. I'm not your blood." I looked at her in question, but with all honestly.

"That's true. You may not be my blood. But that doesn't mean that I don't love you as my own child. Because to me, you are my daughter." She smiled, cherishing my cheek. "So I may not be your mother by birth, but I choose to be your mother. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

"But I hurt you. Don't you hate me and want to hurt me?" I questioned.

"No! No matter what you do I'm going to forgive you, for that's what mother's do. There are things you'll do that may go against me but this is also your life and you'll have to learn things for yourself. So I'll always forgive you. Just as I'll always be your mother." She smiled, hugging me.

~End of Flash Back~

"Your right..." I smiled. "My mother will forgive me. For that's what mother's do."

"Exactly." Yuri smiled happily.  "Now your better finish getting ready. We don't wanna be late for our first mission."

"Ok. I'll meet you out there." I watched as she left the room before I finished getting changed. Sighing, I remembered back on how my mother's touch felt, calming myself of all my worries.

"Took you long enough." Tatsuo smirked once I exited the room.

"Ready?" Yuri smiled.

"Yea." I smiled in reply, facing Captain Emiko, waiting for our next order.

"Good. Now follow me." She ordered. Following shortly after her, Yuri wrapped her arm around my shoulder and smiled, as Tatsuo followed behind us. We followed Captain Emiko back up the wall, only for her to tell us to gear up.

"Excuse me. Captain Emiko. But what exactly are we doing?" Yuri asked the question we all wanted to know the answer too.

"Just in case our guess on where they'll hit next is wrong. We're to scout the wall to see if there are any weak points that may try to attack." Captain Emiko replied.

"Your kidding! Even if they attack it doesn't matter where if it's the Colossal Titan. It'll just kick another hole in the wall like it's nothing. Besides it'll take days to give a thorough check. A week or more if it's just us four!" I argued. "We're basically moving away from where the action will be."

"You may have a point Himiko. But if we're to thoroughly check the wall, we have to eliminate any Titan that gets in our way." Tatsuo added up.

"That's if there are any Titans." Yuri added.

"Exactly!"

"Hisako!" Captain Emiko snapped. "I know how eager your are to bloody your blade with Titans blood. But orders are orders."

"Fine. Let's just go and get this over and done with." I walked off ahead of them.
