Kenma sat on the couch as Kuroo and I was trying to find a way to explain everything.
"Okay, Now explain?" Kenma rubbed the back of his neck. "This may just be a blackout". I sighed and say down next to him. "This was the whole reason I didn't want you guys to come to America for me. This isn't a blackout. It's a borderland. This will probably mess us up a lot. Please, when I explain what kind of place this is...You won't freak out.
Little did we know the few people that were inside of the house were listening. Daichi, Kiyoko, Oikawa, Bokuto, Shoyo, and Kageyama were standing behind Kuroo as I paid no mind to them.
"I promise but this is all so weird." Kenma made a confused face as he sighed. "For you to survive you have to play these games. Depending on the cards is how much days you get for your visa. If your visa expires, you die. We have to play our first game tonight. If we don't them we might die tomorrow night."
Kenma's eyes slightly widened. "Woah now...This isn't so nice to be in though. Is there a way to get out?" I slightly held my head down. We don't know how different this will be...I'm not sure about any of this." Kenma nodded and looked over to Kuroo. "So, You got to experience this too?" Kuroo nodded. "Yeah, I did. Most of these games...we'll most likely barley make it out."
My eyes slightly widen and I look at Kuroo. "What if the games are the same? Or similar?" He smiled sitting next to me and then patted my head "Then we can win. With everyone alive."
Daichi walked up to us and looked at me. "How long have you been in the game in America?" I put my finger to my chin, thinking. "About 3 weeks." He nodded and everyone sat together.
"I believe it will be best if we didn't play the games in big groups. That would increase the chances of people dying but for this first game...I think we should." I spoke to everyone. "There are these cards that I mentioned. Each card shows everything about the game. Each suit is Diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs.
"Diamond games are ones that require knowledge and critical thinking skills. Spade games are games based on physical efforts. Club games are a mixture of both mental and physical abilities. Finally, the worst is heart games where your mental stability is put to the test in some of the sickest and cruelest ways possible. None are the games are easy if you haven't played them before and there's always that one person that does."
"The number on the card will determine how hard the game is and how many days you get on your visa. The 12 face cards are the hardest games. I hope none of us actually come across those games. Now does everyone understand?"
I looked around to see everyone's face and they all looked a little frightened. I got nods in return and I laid back on the couch. "We should most definitely get ready. We don't want to miss the first game." I slowly got up and grabbed my sweater putting it on as everyone got ready as well. "Also please, grab your phones and their chargers. It's the smartest thing to do to keep in contact with each other. The only lights that will show are the arena buildings, where the games are held." We all walk out of the house.
I look around as we get to a street and a big billboard lights up with writing on the screen.
'GAME ARENA THIS WAY'
------------>I nod and walk the way the billboard tells us too with everyone following me. Kenma walking on the side of me holding my hand. After some twist and turns we finally made it to an arena which was a building with lots of lights flashing. I turn my head, looking at the people behind me as Kuroo comes on my other side holding my hand. "Everyone ready?" they all nod and we walk to the entrance.
We walk into the building and make a couple of turns and we come to a table with the phones and four people already there. Count that five with the girl behind us.
We all grab a phone and login so we are actually playing the game. One of the boys in the first group was about to go out and before he could, the lady with them stopped him. "You can't do that." She snached off his nametag and threw on the opposite end of the elevator and the nametag go hit by a laser. Everyone gasped except for me, Kuroo and the lady.
'Registration login has ended, The card you'll receive after this game will be the three of spades. Please step into the elevator.'
I looked at all of us and sighted. "Let hope we all fit." I walked in the elevators with Kenma and Kuroo by my sides and Kenma moves behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. "We're gonna do just fine." He put his head in the crook of my neck once everyone got in the elevator.
Soon the elevator started to go up and stopped at a room. We walk out the elevator. There were Two doors. One that said live and the other said live.
This was gonna be harsh. Who knows how bad this game is gonna be. We don't even know what's on the other side of the doors.
This was gonna be a long game...
