(Disclaimer: I'm sorry for taking this long to upload a new chapter, my mental health was quite bad and also school kept me busy. I'll try to update more often again. x Also if you guys spot any spelling/language mistakes please call me out on them since English is not my first language. Oh btw, I made a spotify playlist with this story's songs - it's called "cry, little girl" and my @ is stoopidbish.)
[SONG: Hayloft • Mother Mother]
"Ey! Female Dumbledore! I was afraid the
stupid hat would sort you in Slytherin. Would've been quite a pain in the ass to see your ridiculous face all the time."I turned around, crossing my arms as if I tried to protect myself from Draco's offending nonsense.
"Will you please just shut the fuck up?! Everyone knows people like you only bully others because you're mad they're getting more attention, since you don't seem to get enough of that at home," I scoffed.
Judging by the look on his face, I must have hit a nerve.
"Oh," Draco spat while threateningly coming closer. "You're bringing my family into this now, huh?"
I chuckled. "What are you gonna do about it? Fight me?"
Not sure if he tries to be intimidating but that wannabe aggressive look on his face is honestly just a pity.
He slowly shook his head. "You ain't even worth receiving a single punch from me, you pathetic b-"
The sound of my great grandfather clearing his throat interrupted Draco's attempts at insulting me.
"Give it a rest, Draco. Hate never got one anywhere," he declared.
Draco was fuming. "Tell that your great granddaughter, then. That stupid shit decided to slander my family."
Slander? Oh dear, those were obviously just facts.
Albus nodded. "And I will surely talk to her about that. But if you don't keep your mouth shut now, I fear I'll have to resort to stricter means."
"And what would those possibly be? I already am in detention pretty much every day of the week," he responded spitefully.
"There's something called expelling," my great grandfather replied dryly. "It would be a shame though, so, provided that you work on your behaviour, we might just let go of it peacefully."
Draco balled his hands to fists. "Expelling? You can't expel me, you iniquitous old man. My father will hear about this!"
And with that he left.
Albus looked after him and let out a disappointed sigh. "Poor boy. His family made him blind to the importance of kindness."
"He really is worse off," Luna said quietly. "Anyways, I have to get going, the thestrals are waiting for my daily visit."
What the hell are thestrals?
I decided not to ask and instead just nodded while replying, "See you later, thanks for showing me around."
I really am grateful for Luna's help, I would have been quite lost without her.
She smiled, gave me a final wave and then pranced the opposite of the direction Draco was going.
