Do you know what one of the best things about life is? You keep moving forward. Sure, that can be a curse sometimes but in its own glory, it has a Jena se qua about it. I tapped my fingers in rhythm with a beat in my head on the railing of the ship as I gazed out to sea, pondering about what life may hold for me next. I had a crew with only one familiar face, a quest, which took ages to discover, and finally what seemed to be a purpose. I took in a deep breath. My parents wouldn't miss me just yet. It would be months until they came home. They probably were finding tons of interesting things on their dig. I had been jealous that they were going without me but now I was grateful. I would have missed out on this amazing adventure if I had gone. This beats dusty old tombs ten to one. I was humming a song gently to myself, excited to be alive.
