Megumi was waiting outside while staring at the building where she entered and has yet to come out. Rain clouds start to form creating a dark, glum atmosphere making him sigh
"....the hell is tak-" his thoughts got cut off when a body came flying out and landing just by his feet was an annoyed red eyed demon tired of life
"Heya handsome, you should move" she got back on to her feet to jump away as a large ball of energy hit where she was standing
"Aww I missed ?" a familiar voice rang as the rain starts to drizzle down. A figure came up that made every hair in megumi's body to arise
"Ohh? I thought you would've left? Sorry but he's not coming back, but don't be so scared I'm in a great mood right now. So let's cha-"
"Hey don't touch him..." a bright barrier separated Megumi from Sukuna, which made him click his tongue seeing that the wall made his skin burn
"Oii oii that's not fair, I was just about to talk to him" his eyes glared at her nonchalant self who was stretching
"I'm his part time babysitter so fuck off" she glances over to Megumi seeing his petrified face when he noticed the hole in his chest
"...Itadori's coming back. Even if that means he'll die, that's just who he is"
"You give him too much credit~ This guy's just a little tougher and denser than other humans. Just a moment ago, he was scared out of his mind, on the verge of death, and prattling on about his regrets and all that nonsense. I know FOR A FACT he doesn't have the guts to kill himself " he said all with a smirk knowing well he's right
It was a standstill between the 3, Akane was unsure of Megumi's move. Although she would want to neutralize the threat she prefers no more bloodshed, his hands shook as he made a pose to summon his Shikigami

As Sukuna continues to dodge both Nue and Megumi flawlessly his grin got wider, seeing Akane was having a borderline breakdown since she can't attack freely with Megumi around without potentially harming him
And Sukuna knows that well
"Come on more, more, MOORREE" He grabbed Megumi's fist to bring him close, his eyes glowed with malice making him freeze
