A dream stopped by reality. One that stops while a nightmare begins. For Y/n that nightmare was real life. A life that would never again be the same.

She was suddenly awoken by the sound of Gold Phantom, a young villain who was out for revenge against Y/n's family, breaking into the house. Y/n was young at the time and completely unaware of what was about to happen.

She walked out of her room after waking up, since she was never able to fall asleep again after waking up in the middle of the night. Y/n decided to walk down to her kitchen and get some water.

Gold Phantom was here for revenge. Y/n's grandfather was a hero named warrior who long ago put Gold Phantom's grandfather in jail for his villainous acts. Gold Phantom, whose real name was Tokano Kuinaske, wanted to murder Y/n's family, including Y/n herself.

Tokano successfully murdered Warrior and his children that night, leaving Y/n an orphan. before Y/n knew it Tokano was behind her ready to do the deed. The knife approached Y/n quickly when...

Her eyes opened. "Another dream?" she sighed. This time it felt more like a reality. She was sweating, and shaking. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. her eyes looked empty and tired.

Y/n has been having the same dream for a while now. It was a dream that haunted her. It reminded her of that night. The one night she wanted to forget. The night of the murder. The night of the hunt.

After that night, Y/n went to live with a foster family that has taken care of her every since. "You ok?" Her foster sister, Naomi asked, "It seemed rough. I heard sounds from my room."

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking. Did I wake you" Y/n questioned.

"Nah, I woke up early today. Today is the big day isn't it."

"Yeah I am so excited. MY first day at the new school."

UA. The prestigious school that turned out many heroes. On this very day, Y/n would go to UA for her first day of school.
