•Elizabeth POV •

It was a warm sunny day. Mom felt sick again and my sisters and father were busy so I was all alone. I would usually read for hours on hours on days like these. But for today, I wanted to explore the forest and maybe find a spot read there. "I'm leave mom to explore the forest!" I tell her as I put my shoes on. "Ok dear, be safe" she whispered weakly. I may be young but I am not stupid. Mom was sick, she couldnt walk and was extremly pale.

"Mhm feels nice outside!" I mumbled as I walked to the forest. Mom told me about the forest before and how wonderful it is. Today was the day I finally decicded to explore it! The sun shined down on me and it felt so nice! I made it to the forest and WOW! It was wonderful. It was so green and colorful. It was shady and the wind picked up a little making the weather perfect. The sun shined through the leaves on the trees making it look like the light is dancing. I'm going to find a place to read!

I kept walking and found a nice place to sit down and read my book. I love to read about math and science even if I couldn't use it for a job since I am a women and thats not accepted. My other sister struggles with that too. She wants to be a holy knight for Dre because it is a really good kingdom. I sit on the grassy area near the river. It looked clear enough to drink and you could see all the small fishys in it. Today I am reading about plants.

I read about every book I can get my hands on. It was peaceful. The birds were chirping and you could hear the flow of the water.

SPLASH

Little bits of water came up and the fishes swam a way from a rock that has been thrown in the water. "Strange" I mumble to myself. I heard footsteps of people running towards where the rock was thrown. "You idiot you were not suppose to throw the rock!" A boys voice yelled. "Ughh comeone live a little zel" another voice yelled. I looked up to see two boys standing on the hill of the other side of the river.

•Meliodas POV•

We went to were I threw the rock and I saw a girl sitting near the river looking up at us. "You idiot you could of hit that girl" zeldris huffed. "Well it was an accident sorry" I mumble. I jump down the hill and into the water and walk towards the girl. Zeldris joined me, when we got to her she stood up and dusted the dirt off her skirt. "Hi! I'm meliodas. This is zeldris sorry about the rock" I laugh. She smiles and picks up her book.

"Its fine really, Im elizabeth" she smiles. "Thats a pretty name, it suits you" I complement. She blushes a little. "Sorry about him, he flirts with girls" zeldris commented. "Hey wanna be friends?'' I ask.

"Sure!"
