Alia walks to the door, grabs the keys from the table beside her and is about to leave when she feels like something is missing. She thinks for a moment and remembers, then she walks to the mirror. The mirror is long enough for her to take one last glance at her outfit.

Black over the knee boots, grey turtle neck sweater, black curly hair in a ponytail with the bangs to the side, golden nose ring and finally the one thing that connects the whole look, the red matte lipstick. She gives her self a smirk and leaves her apartment. She lives in a modern apartment building in the city.

Alia Asen is on her way to her parents house for a family gathering. She rolls her eyes thinking that there will not be only family attending, but also her relatives, friends and business partners. She is not one for the small talks, smiles nor hugs. It has been too long since she visited her parents, and agreed to attend the event only to meet them.

After a 15 minute drive she can see the home she grew up in and several cars at the entrance. She breathes in, out and picks up her phone from the passenger seat. She has received two new messages from her friend, but she decides to ignore.

Alia walks to the front door and ring the bell but there is no response, she tries again and still no answer, then she grabs the door handle and push the door. There was loud voices and music coming from inside, a lot more than she had anticipated. This did not bring a smile to her face. Maybe it was not too late to turn around and walk away, she thought to her self.

She walks to the opening of the living room and unfortunately there are still lots of people here. Her eyes land on the people standing beside the bar and walks towards them.

"Hello mother," she says tapping her shoulder.

"You are finally here! I have missed you," her mother says turning her attention towards her daughter.

"Who do we have here?" the unknown lady beside the mother asks.

"This is my oldest daughter, Alia" the mother answers while Alia reach out her hand.

"Yes, that would be me, and you are?" Alia replies while the lady extend her hand.

"I am Lisa Michael, a potential business partner," she smiles politely and they shake hands.

"Nice to meet you," Alia reply knowing that she should always be polite when it comes to business. "Where is father?" she asks.

"Well at his usual place, with some friends." Alia instantly know what she is referring too. Where else would he be other than his office. She knocks twice on the office door and when she gets a reply she walks in.

"Hello darling, when did you arrive?" Her father asks standing up. Alia looks around and look at the two men sitting.

"If you are busy, I can revisit." Alia answers with a firm voice.

"No no, this is my childhood friend, Adrian Creed and his son, Alec Creed." Alia has never heard of them before. She gives both of them a quick look and extend her hand to the old man, not caring about the younger one which looked the same age.

"Alia" she introduce herself. Adrian shake her hand, "The two of you look quite similar."

"That is something I surely am proud of." Alias father replies with a proud voice. Alec stands up and places him self beside his father. He scans Alia and reaches her eyes.

"Alec," he says reaching out his hand with a smirk. Alia do not want to shake his hand, because of his cocky smile. She forms a frown but decides to not punch his face, at least not yet.

Ring Ring

Alia picks up her phone quickly to avoid shaking his hand. "Excuse me" she says and answers the phone call. The two old men sits down again and start chatting, while Alec remains standing.

"Heyy guurl, where are yoooou??" Oh no, Alia thinks to her self. "Babyyy, can you pweaseee pick me up??" The one on the other side of the call is her friend, Jackson, and he is drunk really drunk.

"Where are you?" Alia asks with an annoyed voice, he should know better than to call her while he is drunk. She hates dealing with drunk people, especially when they are flirty.

"I'm not gonna tell youuu, hehe," Alia finds herself getting even more annoyed. "Find me pweaaaaseeee," she does not reply because she do not want to raise her voice in front of the guests. "Baby gurl answer meeeeeee." She has an obligation to pick him up, because of their friendship. The only way she will get an answer from him is if she plays along.

"Babe, will you please tell me where you are? I am getting worried you know." Alia says with a sweet voice. The old men do not care about the conversation and keeps chatting, but Alec seemed to be more than interested.

"Ouuuuuu. Looks like someone is worrieeeed about me being with other gurls." Jackson replies while teasing. Alia does not have a lot of patience with drunk people, at all.

"Sweetie, if you do not answer this instant I will rip off your hair, slowly may I add." Alec lets out a chuckle, while Jackson says the name of the club. "That was not hard, or was it?" Alia replies shifting back to her firm voice.

"Father, there is an emergency I need to leave."

"I do not think that this is the time, me and my friend here would love it if you and Alec could get to know each other." Alia wonders why she needs to know that guy but do not ask any further questions. Alec smiles, because he can see that Alia is not happy with the answer.

"I could go with her." Alec suggests to her father, and he nods. Alia does not care, even though she would love to go alone, but right now she needs to take care of her friend.

"Shall we?" Alec asks Alia but Alia had already started walking away, fast may he add.

"Where are we going?" Alec asks.

"You do not need to go with me, stop the acting." Alia accuses him.

"What act?" he replies, amused by her accusation. Alia locks up her car and open the car door.

"The 'I am not a play boy act' in front of our fathers," she replies getting in the car. Five minutes with him and she already knows his personality. He scoffs.

"You are sharp." he also gets in the car. "Now what about you, miss good girl?" Good girl is not the way anyone should describe Alia, but she does not deny either. Rather she laughs dryly.

"Put on your seat belt," she says and drives to the club directly, quite fast.

"Woah there, relax with the driving, nobody is after you." Alia sure does enjoy his reaction and drives even faster. Five minutes later they arrived. Club Godzilla. In the five minute drive they did not talk much, other than Alecs complaining and Alias amusement.
