But that wasn't how it used to be, she was perfectly fine being in a relationship before her fathers death, and just like that, it was like a switch had shut off in her head, any kind of relationship or commitment seemed revolting to her, so she never did it again, when things seemed to turn serious in her flings or affairs she would cut them off, her ex boyfriends and girlfriends would often call her heartless.
It never bothered her, because she knew she had to use her heart less so her life would be just how she wanted it to be, she couldn't care what other people thought about her, she wanted what she wanted and she would be damned if she let any other people's little feelings change any of that. But that all changed when her best friend kissed her one drunken night over summer break.
