Prologue

[ Tyler's POV ]

I'm getting a new job, finally. I'm usually the bodyguard for politicians mostly, but I'm sick of it. Although nobody knows this, I don't like working with them - too much arguing and all. I'm going to work in show business, there's more money that way. At the same time I don't really want a stack of cash in my pocket, but it would be nice to get payed a bit more for risking my life every day. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. There are just some risks involved with this career:

- Getting killed.

- Your client getting killed.

- Falling in love with your client.

Now neither of those things has happened yet, but I'm afraid of the day that they do. It's understandable that someone might start have feelings for someone they have to protect. Some of my workmates have been through that before, and it's not a pretty aftermath. One of them even had to quit. He found a new career, a new life. I don't want that. I love my job so much, and I don't want to give it up because of my stupid heart getting in the way.

So this new person I'm working for is a YouTuber. Apparently he also does acting, singing and a bit of modelling. Sounds like too much work in my opinion. I used to struggle with two jobs, let alone four. He is living in LA at the moment, working on his new album. I guess that's perfect in a way, I live right near his studio so I don't have to travel far. Some of my previous clients lived all over the place, and it got too hectic sometimes. I love travelling and seeing new places but I also want to settle down in one city for a while to take a break. That definitely sounds like a good idea.

All of that aside, I think I'm going to enjoy becoming the bodyguard for this guy. He seems friendly and down to earth. His manager told me a lot about him of course, before I accepted the job. He certainly sounds like an interesting person, the total opposite to politicians. He is also pretty young, only 20.

Oh and his name, is Troye Sivan Mellet.

heyyyyy ya'll, i hope u enjoyed that little introduction. now i have some pretty big plans for this fanfic, and i'm literally soooo excited to share them with uuuuu but of course i'll have to write them first (ugh, tragic) and plan them out properly, etc

another thing, well a warning actually, there is going to be action involved with this fic seeing as Tyler is a bodyguard. but mainly i'll focus on the storyline. also, smut? you may be asking. even though I haven't written a whole lot of smut in my life, i can definitely write some because i know how thirsty this fandom can get ;)))))
