A Love So Sweet One Shot: Behind The Mask - Park Jihyo

(Yongie POV)

I wake up in the middle of the night, I sit up and look around. "Oh, right. I'm in the Twice dorm." I get up and looked around the living room, seeing I was asleep on the couch. I see that all the members decided to sleep with us in the living room, I see that Jihun and Nayeon are cuddling up with each other.

"Lucky bastard." I mumble to myself. I notice that there's an empty space next to me. I look around that all the members are here expect one. I stand up from my spot and walk to the kitchen, I tried to flip a switch, but the power was still out. "Aish, when is this power going to come back?"

I go on and grab a water bottle from the plastic packs considering that opening the fridge wouldn't be a good idea with all the food in there. After taking a good gulp of water, I'm pretty much awake. I go back to the living room, but I see light from the staircase. I couldn't help myself but be curious and check.

I walk up the stairs and I see one room door slightly open; I hear someone crying from inside. "Eh? Who could be up here." I lightly knock on the door and walk inside. "Hello?" I walk inside and I see...

"Jihyo-noona?" I see Jihyo turn around with tears in her eyes. "W-Woah Jihyo! What's wrong?!" I walk towards her and she then moves back towards the other side of the bed. "S-Stay away from me!" Jihyo cried out while tears run down her face. "But I can help you." I calmly say to her.

I was able to take some steps closer to her bed without her panicking harder. I find sit next to her and I give her a big embracing hug. "Shhh, I'm here now." Jihyo slowly stopped crying but is breathing really heavily. "I-I'm sorry, d-did I w-wake you?" Jihyo says while resting her head on my shoulder as I'm hugging her.

"No, no. I woke up on my own and I noticed that you weren't downstairs with us." I say as I stroke her hair to calm down Jihyo. She finally started breathing normally, I broke the hug and held her shoulders.

"Are you okay noona?"

She shook her head, I move over and sat beside her.

"What's wrong?"

Jihyo leaned her head on my shoulder.

"Daniel and I didn't break up due to schedules... He told me he doesn't love me anymore."

I look over to her.

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"He told me he stopped loving me, he wants someone new."

"WELL, THAT IDIOT!" I stood up heated and yelled to the top of my lungs.

"Shhh, Yoongie please. I don't want the other members to wake up." Jihyo pulled me down and covered my mouth. I followed and nodded my head, Jihyo then released my face.

"Does anyone else know about this?"

"Only Nayeon and Jeongyeon unnie, I couldn't bring myself to look weaker in front of the other members."

"Noona, it's okay to be vulnerable. We're human, no one is invincible."

Jihyo then looked into my eyes.

"Am I not enough for anyone?"

"Noona, you're more than enough. For anyone."

Jihyo smiles a bit. "Am I really? I've always been criticized for years.... My vocals... My leadership.... My weight...." Jihyo smile drops and again she starts tearing up.

I couldn't help but hug her. "Jihyo it's okay, no one's opinion matters other than yours. Personally, I think you're a perfect person." I say softly in her ear.

"Do you really think so?" Jihyo asks as she slowly calms down and breathes normally. I pull away from her, "Of course I do, you're God Jihyo." I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Should I do it here? Damn it Yongie, take the shot."

"Noona, I would love to-"

*THUD*

(Third POV)

*Outside of the room*

"Damn it Sana!" Nayeon rushes over to Sana who's sitting on the floor. "Why do you have to be so clumsy?"

Nayeon swiftly helps Sana up and the two run down the stairs hoping to not get caught.

Yongie and Jihyo both takes a peek outside of the bedroom just to see the two run down to the living room, the two looked at each other and giggled.

(Yongie POV)

I walk back instead Jihyo's room and sit on the side of the bed as she lays down inside the blanket. "What were you going to tell me Yongie?" Jihyo asks me, I just shake my head and tell her, "It's not the right time, I'll tell you another time... It's already late as well." I stand up and about to bid Jihyo goodnight but suddenly...

Jihyo arms are around my neck and she pecks me on the lips.

"Can you spend the night here with me Yongie? I don't like sleeping alone." Jihyo says with a pout. Being the simp I am, I can't resist her.

"Of course, Jihyo, I'll be happy to." I get in bed and lay down beside her. "Hey... Yongie.... can we cuddle?" I didn't say anything and just hugged her from behind till we fell asleep.

*The next morning*

(Nayeon POV)

I wake up to an empty spot next to me, after a while I sat up and stretched my arms. I look around and I don't see Jihun anywhere. "Where could have this boy gone?" I look into the kitchen and I see the kitchen light on. "Oh, the power came back?" I got up from where I slept and crept into the kitchen.

I see my Jihun standing by the stove. "Aw is he cooking breakfast." I just stay around the wall observing him, he's so focused on his cooking... It turns me on a bit seeing him serious... I wonder how he is during training. I stop thinking about it and skipped into the kitchen, then hugging Jihun from behind.

"Oh, good morning bunny." Jihun said looking back and smiling towards me. "Why didn't you wake me up jagi?" I pouted and he just kept smiling and looked back at the food he's cooking. "Well, the most beautiful girl in the world needs her beauty sleep, right?" He laughed and I couldn't help but blush.

Once after Jihun was done cooking breakfast, I set the table and gathered the members except for 2 particular people. I look at the table to see that Yongie and Jihyo aren't at the table.

I go upstairs and peek into the bedroom.

"Aw, how can I disturb them"

I close the door and leave quietly. An image of Yongie laying down with Jihyo's head resting on his chest and embracing each other is etched in my brain now, I happily skip down the stairs smiling.

"Bunny? Where's the two sleepy heads?" Jihun asks as I arrive back to his side at the table.

"Oh, I just decided to let them sleep." I just smile and he nods. "Let's eat now!" Momo yells at us at the other side of the table. "Shhhh, calm down Momo." Jeongyeon says. "Yes, let's eat now!" I yell out.

"YAY!"
