Elizabeth huffed as she stood in line at Vanille. She was so confused, the lines never been this long before. If she didn't get home soon, Darren would get angry with her.

Elizabeth sighed as her head began to spin, Darren.. She shook her head, she didn't want to think about what would happen if she was late again.

"Ma'am?" A males voice broke through her train of thought.

"O-Oh, yes?" Elizabeths head shot up, her eyes meeting with bright, gorgeous emerald eyes. Messy blonde locks curling around his eyes. His smile was wide, and his teeth were a pearly white.

Elizabeth felt her cheeks flush when he spoke. "Your order, Miss." He snickered a bit and leaned forward slightly, glancing to the register.

Elizabeth swallowed and laughed slightly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. She finally took her order.

Elizabeth picked up her drink and quickly left Vanille. She checked the time as she began to panic, if she didn't run home now she'd be late. Though she had an entire drink tray and a bag, it isn't like she could run.

Elizabeth began to jog her way back to her boyfriends apartment. It was hard but she made it back right before curfew.

Elizabeth swung the door open quickly, and shut it behind her at the same pace.

Elizabeth let out a sigh, and pressed her back against the door. Then she approached the table and set down the food items.

She glanced around. Where was Darren?

"Darren?" Elizabeth called out, taking a few steps forward. Then she heard something. Cries— no, moans. A females moaning.

Elizabeths heart sunk. She then began to race up the stairs and tore through the hallway. She grabbed the doorknob and forced the door open.

She was right.

There lied a woman Elizabeth has never seen before, and Darren ontop of her; both fully nude.

Darrens eyes shot up as he froze. Elizabeths eyes were glued to the traitorous scene infront of her. She began to tear up, taking several steps back.

"Why?" Elizabeth let out a whisper. The woman under her 'boyfriend' looked at Elizabeth and then at Darren before getting a look of pure rage.

"What the hell!?" the womand voice made Elizabeth shrink. Elizabeths back met with the wall as the woman shoved Darren off of her.

"Wait— Cindy! Come on-" Darren growled, trying to make her stay. Elizabeths mind was racing, as she then sped down the stairs.

"Elizabeth!" Darrens voice tore through the walls as Elizabeth threw herself forward and grabbed the car keys off of the table before darting out of the door, she didn't even think to grab the drink she ordered.

Elizabeth could hear the distant arguing of Cindy and Darren. She was distraught and felt sick to her stomach. Elizabeth threw herself in the drivers seat of her car and inserted the key before turning it with shaky hands and starting the car.

Elizabeth began driving, she didn't know where yet but she just had to get away from there.

Then an idea came to mind— Diane wouldn't mind, would she? It'd be a lot better than being hit by Darren for running off. Yeah, Dianes house.

Elizabeth took a sharp U-Turn and headed for Dianes house, wiping her face as her makeup stained under her eyes.

Diane giggled, she was setting up Christmas decorations with her boyfriend King, or better known as Harlequin. She wasn't expecting Elizabeth to drop by, and she sure as hell wasn't expecting her best friend to be crying.

Elizabeth sniffled and knocked on their door. She tried to calm herself though that resulted in failure.

Diane dropped her ornament in shock, the glass shattering on the ground, then turning around and jogging to the door, "Don't step in that, King!" she shouted and got a "Kay!" in return.

Diane hummed and unlocked the door before opening it and looking up. Her happy expression soon twisted into a look of concern and anger. "Woah woah Ellie- Whats wrong?" Diane immediately brought Elizabeth inside, taking her hand.

Elizabeth only sobbed harder and found refuge in her friends arms. "I... I..." Though no words were formed. Elizabeth wasn't in the shape to speak now. She was cold, and heartbroken, even if Darren was abusive. (and hurt her often)

Diane took note of this and guided her to the couch and sat down with Elizabeth. Diane held Elizabeths hands in hers, and then pulled her into a hug, rubbing cirlces on the girls back.

"Its alright, Elizabeth.. Don't rush okay?" Diane whispered and held her distraught friend.

Elizabeth soon calmed down, and took a few deep breaths. She looked up at Diane and explained her current situation.

The rage Diane felt was immeaurable. "He WHAT?" Diane shouted, going to stand up.

"P-Please.. don't.." Elizabeth whimpered and flinched. Diane then frowned and sat back down slowly, "I'm sorry.."

Elizabeth nodded a bit, "i- its okay.." she then wiped her tears and laughed some. "Hey.. On the bright side there was a really cute barista who took my order today." Elizabeth let out another laugh.

Diane was suddenly interested. "Ooh~ What'd he look like?" she inquired, pitching forward with a small grin.

Elizabeth smiled. "His eyes were.. like emeralds, they were so bright and friendly looking." she brushed a piece of hair behind her ear.

She continued, "and his hair— Bright yellow, kind of like a dandelion.." Diane laughed at the comparison.

"He was small, but it totally suited him, you know? Maybe around.. 5'0 tall?" Elizabeth stopped and thought about it before nodding. "Its like if he was any taller it'd be weird."

Diane took this into account and thought for a second. "Do you know his name?"

Elizabeth paused.

"No, I don't." Elizabeths voice shot down to a whisper.

Diane burst into a laughing fit as Elizabeth bonked her on the head for not taking her predicament seriously.

"D-Diane! Don't laugh.." Elizabeth pouted.

King peeked in, "Elizas here?" He glanced over to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth giggled and waved, "Hey King!" she sniffled and grinned at him.

"You alright El?" King shuffled into the room as he walked over.

Elizabeth smiled and nodded, and filled him in on everything thats happened.

King slowly nodded, "I'm sorry- Hmm.. Hey I think I know the guy you're talking about." King perked up and flashed a smile.

Elizabeths eyes widened, "Seriously?" King nodded. "His names Meliodas, tiny blonde right? Way too nice to be real?" King rose a brow. Elizabeth nodded quickly.

King nodded, "I don't know him personally but we've talked a couple of times- super sweet guy!" King laughed.

Elizabeth grinned, "I might try talking to him.." she whispered as Diane cheered.

"Lets have a sleepover! We'll all go tomorrow!" Diane took Elizabeths hands again.

Elizabeths eyes widened as she laughed and nodded.

"Thank you, Diane."
