The castle grounds seemed quieter than they did earlier, and as Alecto entered the building, she knew why; the war had moved inside. Looking around for her brother, or one of his friends, she pulled off her leather jacket and threw it to the floor; she beginning to sweat. She'd gone to find her old school crush, despite her brother telling her not to. Now, as she looked around, a sense of dread filled up in her stomach. She turned around, and saw Rodolphus Lestrange looking at her, tear stained. She frowned in confusion.
"Molly Weasley killed Bella," he whispered. Hearing these words, Alecto glared at Molly and let a tear slip down her cheek.
"Amycus?" she muttered, her eyes begging him to tell her he was okay.
"Killed. Charlie Weasley," he told her. Alecto nodded softly, making her way over to where the Weasleys sat together.

"Charlie Weasley," she hissed venomously. He turned and looked into her eyes, standing up.
"Alecto Carrow," he whispered. She pointed her wand at his chest.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
"PROTEGO"
"EXPELLIARMUS,"
Charlie's wand flew out of his hand, and she directed a killing curse directly at his chest. After her target was dead, she turned her wand on Molly; she'd killed her best friend, revenge must be taken.
"Crucio!" she hissed, and Molly screamed in agony. Not able to contain her tears any longer, Alecto pointed her wand directly at Molly, whispered a second killing curse, then ran out of the room as she saw Molly fall. She ran all the way to the outskirts of Hogwarts, and once out she apparated herself to the childhood home she'd shared with Amycus. The house was empty, abandoned, and her footsteps were heard clearly as she walked up the stairs into his old bedroom. Looking around, she smiled as she saw photos of them and their friends all around. His closet door was open, so she walked over and pulled out one of hoodies. Pulling it on over her head, she smiled; lucky for her, she was skinny, so it was an easy fit. It smelt like him and she missed him already. She noticed something else in the corner of his closet, and pulled it out. It was a rainbow box. Biting her lip, she sat on the bed and opened the box.
The first thing in the box was a lip piercing. She laughed. He'd done everything he could to disappoint their parents. The second thing was a small notebook, and she couldn't help but open it.

Reading it, she smiled. There were so many memories in there and she was happy they'd spent them together.

Closing the notebook, she looked at the other things in the box. A rainbow wrist band, a chain with rainbow hearts, a rainbow watch, many rainbow things. She wondered why he hid them, then realisation dawned on her. They weren't just random rainbows. They were pride merch. He was gay. She smiled in pride. She'd never told him, or anyone else but she was a lesbian and madly in love with Andromeda Tonks. It was beginning to get light, and she decided to stay at her childhood home for a while - she couldn't have the aurors catch her so soon. She needed time to mourn.

"Amycus! I'm going to go find someone I used to love, I'll be back soon," Alecto told her brother. He grabbed her hand.
"No, don't," he told her. She shook his hand off.
"I need to, in case anything happens," she whispered. He shook his head.
"Don't go, Lec. I need you," he said. She gave him a soft hug, and quickly ran away. Little did she know, that would be the last time she saw her brother.
