Emma Jane

A hard head and a guarded heart are never a good match. It makes people become unwilling to open up to others. It prevents them from seeing the colour and the happiness in life. It prevents them from living.

Once upon a time, there was Emma Jane. Whenever you see Emma Jane, you think, ‘Damn,’ because that was the statement that her presence alone made. She was a stunning specimen, raven-black hair to the bottom of her back, eyes the colour of the Amazon forest, and a body that could have been walked the catwalk in pyjamas. But don’t be fooled, a pretty face, doesn’t mean a pretty life. Dead parents and a rough neighbourhood cause even the prettiest people to go rogue. The only people she had to guide her was an up and coming drug dealer in New York, or as she’s always known him, Dad. But one wrong drug deal was all it took. Now Emma truly had nobody and a budding criminal organisation on her hands. Everyone doubted her. But they had no reason too. After all, she is the owner of the biggest drug syndicate in New York.

Niall Horan

Hollowness is a feeling that is inescapable. It will creep up on you wherever you go. You can try to hide it with smiles or with laughs, but it will find you. It will engulf you.

Niall Horan was practically the poster child for the perfect life. A loving mother and father, a younger sister that idolised him and an older brother who looked out for him. The perfect friends, the best grades, a full ride to University, he had it all. But he felt like all he had was the pretty wrapper of an empty box. He wasn’t ungrateful. Far from it. But if he really did have it all, why did he still feel like he had nothing? He didn’t know what was missing. It felt like a constant black hole that was waiting to be filled. He didn’t know how to fill it. He didn’t know what to fill it with. But he can’t ever say anything. He was one of the lucky ones, and he knew it, there were some people who had worse than nothing and he doesn’t have the right to complain.

Two individuals, two polar lives, one answer.
