Kim Namjoon's pov:

It felt familiar.

The voice was so familiar yet I couldn't quite put my finger on who it was.

And before I knew it, my shift had ended and I was in front of the bar where Junghoon was supposed to meet me.

Out of nowhere, two fingers snapped in front of me. "Hello, earth to Namjoon," Junghoon said, chuckling.

It seemed to get me out of the daze that I have been in since the encounter with my latest passenger, a very attractive passenger I must add.

"What happened? Got some extra handsome passenger who you can't get out of your mind?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Well, yes, I do prefer a man as my lover.

"Yes, he was indeed handsome, almost ethereal, but that's not what got me thinking... It's his voice, it makes me feel like I have heard it somewhere, As if his voice is very close to my heart." I took a pause and added, "However, I'm sure I have never seen his face before or I would have remembered. It's not a face someone could easily forget." I replied dreamily.

"Bet you want to hear that voice screaming your name under you," he teased me while winking and wiggling his eyebrows in an awkward manner.

Feeling embarrassed about the situation, I lightly punched him on the shoulder. But my clumsy self knocked a glass off the counter in the process.

We ended up apologising and paying for both our drinks and the damage caused.

Although being used to seeing me unintentionally break things, Junghoon still couldn't stop laughing at me.

After strolling around for sometime,

I came back home.

Now that think about my life, my dreams, I never really dreamt of being a cab driver.

I used to write songs. I came to this city with big dreams of making songs, becoming a rapper, healing people through my music.

Followed by the night, I slept thinking of the reality of my life, the voice of that stranger and the comfort it brought me.

~Time Skip~

With the same annoying alarm, the same morning routine, the same black coffee, and the same job, I started my day.

Driving around the city, it's like my life came to a standstill in this rapidly developing world.

On a positive note, I do get to meet so many different kind of people everyday. It's a wonder how we are all humans, yet so different.

Time passed and I knew it was 10 pm when I heard his voice through the radio, "Everyone, welcome to 'You Never Walk Alone'..."
