Kirishima's POV:

Everybody was in the common room, chatting away. The DekuSquad -mostly Tsu, Uraraka and Deku, with Todoroki saying something once in a while - talking about what to wear at the upcoming party/get-together that Mina is throwing for New Years on top of the roof. I have to admit; I'm pretty excited as well.

While us, the BakuSquad, were talking about just that. Jirou decided to join us. We were talking about what to wear and when to show up. But then, the topic I was mostly avoiding, came up.

"I still can't believe Hagakure said YES to kissing me at midnight!" She exclaimed, whisper-shouting to make sure the said invisible girl wouldn't hear her, seeing as she was also in the common room. Except she was talking to Yaoyorozu, who was drinking tea and patiently listening to her banter.

"That makes the two of us," Bakugo says gruffly, mumbling. Mina sends him a quick glare then decides to ignore him. Nothing could tamper with her mood.

"I actually asked Yaomomo yesterday to be mine.. I forgot to tell you guys." Jirou says nonchalantly but you could see from the blush on her face that she was flustered and embarrassed. Mina's jaw dropped and Kaminari's eyes widened.

"YOU 'FORGOT'?!" She says quite loudly with air quotes, ignoring peoples' stares. I settle my hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her ass down.

"Hey, hey, now... It's not that big of a deal-" I start saying until she cuts me off my whipping her head towards me, glaring. "O-Or maybe it is..?" I chuckle nervously. This woman can be scary.

This time, it's Kaminari's turn to exaggerate. Except.. I actually know why he did. "Of course, it is!" He says, trying to sound calm. When I lock eyes with him I can see pain and sadness in them.

He had been planning to ask Jirou that particular question.

"B-But it's fine," He continues and faces Jirou with a fake smile plastered onto his face. "I'm happy for you!"

Jirou gives him a light smile/smirk. "Thanks, dude."

Mina looks from Kaminari to Jirou to Kaminari. She knows as well. "Hey, Kaminari!" He slowly looks at her. "I was about to get some hot chocolate for us! Wanna help me carry them?"

He gives her a grateful smile, knowing that he can't stand to be able to face Jirou after that specific announcement. "Yeah." He replies simply and lowly

They get up and start heading off into the kitchen, before they're gone completely, I catch Mina putting her arm around Kaminari's shoulder and him leaning into her.

I smile and face towards Jirou, who is talking to Bakugo.

"Have you asked anyone?" She questions calmly while on her phone, rather bored-looking. I can't tell if she genuinely wants to know his response or not...

He shrugs his shoulders and gives a I-don't-care growl. At least, that's what it sounded like to me.

Jirou nods her head and says 'nice'. How did she even- what?

I simply wait for Kaminari and Mina to come back. A few minutes later, they arrive. Of course, they only have 4 hands, and there are 6 of us. Mina tries to give me the cup but I tell her that it's fine and I'll just get the other ones from the kitchen for me and Sero. She gives up in the end. But what happens next surprises me.
