Dream.(Part 5)

Finally, Kason and Kaitlyn had finally made it the Miyagi Prefecture! They took an uber to their new house, Kaitlyn looked out the car window looking all around. It was a farm/land area, not like a city, or they would call it Tokyo. Kaitlyn's eyes beamed with sparkles as she saw new things all around. Her face couldn't stop looking all around, her brother looked on over to her after re-checking  anything else on his phone, and chuckled at his younger sister. Once night fell in Miyagi, the two finally made it to their new house. The uber driver took off after Kaitlyn and Kason got out of the car with their belongings. "This is our new house?!" Kaitlyn questioned Kason, as she examined the new big house, he nodded his head and opened the house front door with his keys and opened the door wide open. Kaitlyn dragged her stuff inside, to be the first to see the inside of their new home. She ran into the middle of the living room and put her arms up to stretch, leaving her bags and suit case next to her. "Awesome!" She hummed and ran all around to explore the house some more.

Kason then walked up stairs helping Kaitlyn drag her stuff up, as he opened the first door, which was Kaitlyn's new room. It was a small room, one little closet, and a side window. Kaitlyn pictured the room, to where she'll put her stuff. "Like it?" Kason asked as he set her stuff down in her room, she turned to him and smiled. "Yep! I love it, I got every thing ready to go!" She said to him and started to unpack her clothes. Kason chuckled and nodded his head. "Glad you like it! Also our furniture should be coming anytime now! So you unpack clothes and put it in your closet for now!" Kason said to her and walked out of her room, now getting his stuff from down stairs and back up to his room.


Kaitlyn shut the door and opened the window, feeling another cool breeze flow into her face, it was a lovely night. The stars were out shining, and so was the beautiful white and full moon. Kaitlyn closed her eyes, as she heard the trees rustle from the wind, the neighbors having BBQs and family time with each other and their laughs, she smiled then heard bike bells ring. Kaitlyn turned to where the noise of bells was coming from and saw a group of boys, around her age, riding their bikes on the road. She stared at one in particular and noticed the boy fell from his bike, her face got shocked but sighed in relief realizing he's okay, once he got up and went back to riding his bike catching up with his friends. Kaitlyn didn't get to his face, or the other boys. Well they did look around her age, so maybe she'll get to see them in her new school..

Soon then Kaitlyn heard the front door open, and saw the moving truck drive away from the house by looking out the window. "Oh! Our furniture must be here then!" She said to herself and ran downstairs to Kason. "Kason, is our stuff here? Do you need help--" Kaitlyn asked but then stopped her sentence and paused, she looked around the house, it was full of their furniture and house items. The house was already full and decorated. Kason looked at her younger sister and smiled. "No worries! I got everything already! Luckily the moving man helped me out!" He said to her and dusted himself off, she was impressed but shrugged her shoulders. Kason laughed at her then looked at the time on his watch. "Well then I'm sure you're hungry, so maybe we should go grocery shopping?" He questioned his sister, she looked straight at him and nodded her head. She wanted to see Miyagi's grocery store! Kason giggled and grabbed his wallet going to the front door, awaiting for Kaitlyn to follow him, as he put on his shoes. Kaitlyn smiled and walked over to him, also putting on her shoes. They soon walked out of their house and walked to a convenient store that was near by, after a few minutes they finally made it.

Kaitlyn looked up at the sign and read the store name. "Sakanoshita Store"? She read out loud, Kason smiled and nodded his head then opened the door wide open for Kaitlyn, she smiled back and walked in checking out the store. A man turned around from his chair and welcomed them two, Kaitlyn looked at the man with his spiky blonde hair while he turned back around to smoke. She looked away to mind her own business and walked around the mini store. She just explored the small store as her older brother shopped for whatever they needed. As a few minutes passed, Kaitlyn made it back to the front where Kason was, getting ready to pay. The table had many things and foods, the man twitched his eyes and looked at Kason shocked by how much stuff he was gonna buy. Kaitlyn speed walked to her brother and blinked a few times. "Why so much-?!" She questioned him and scratched her head, looking at what her brother picked out. Kason thought for a second and looked back at her with a small smile. "Just thought of what dishes I could make! Besides we'll need lots of food, for how long we're staying here!" He said to her, Kaitlyn sighed and looked at the man. The man shouted at Kason, surprisingly shocked and so. "Kid are you really buying all this stuff?!" The man questioned him, Kason smiled and nodded his head to the man. "Yes sir! Now may I pay?" Kason questioned the man back. The man sighed and started to pack the stuff in plastic bags for them, Kaitlyn smiled and started to hum, again looking around. As the man was packing their groceries, he looked at the two younger ones and questioned them. "So it seems like you two are new around the area aren't you?" Kason looked up at him and smile kindly. "Yep, we sure are! Just moved in today!" Kason replied, the man smiled back and handed Kason their bags. Kason then put the money on the table and carried the bags. "Well then! Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm Keishin Ukai kids!" The man said to them and cheered. Kason giggled a bit as he gave Kaitlyn one bag to carry, she held it and smiled at Ukai. "Thanks Mr. Ukai sir!" Kason said as he pushed Kaitlyn out of the store and waved good bye to him, Kaitlyn did the same. "Yeah see you Mr. Ukai!!" Kaitlyn said and walked out of the store, as they waved good bye Kaitlyn and Kason both headed home.

"Well Mr. Ukai seems friendly! Maybe this won't be so hard!" Kaitlyn said as she looked through the bags. Kason smiled softly as he looked up to the night sky. "I guess you're right." He answered back and looked at his younger sister look through the bags, he laughed a bit. "Y'know you won't be able to find any candy in there, I didn't buy any." Kaitlyn looked at him with a frown on her face, and soon started to whine at him. "Why didn't you buy candy for me!!" Kason gave her a puffy and pouty face and started to mimic her. "Because it's bad for you!" He said to her, she mumbled and turned away from him. After a few minutes of walking again, they soon made it to their house. Kaitlyn opened the door for Kason and set her bag on the kitchen small island. Kason closed the door and did the same as her. Kaitlyn looked at him and hummed. "Do you need any help?" She questioned him, Kason looked at her and shakes his head. "Nope! Don't worry I got it!" He replied back and started to put away the groceries.

 Kaitlyn shrugged her shoulders and ran back upstairs to her room, as Kason was setting the groceries away and started to whip up a meal. Kaitlyn mumbled as she saw her room filled up and ready. "So now this is my new and improved room eh?" She said to herself and sat on her bed, looking back out the window gazing at the bright moon shining through her window. Kaitlyn grabbed out her phone and started to check her notifications or texts that she received, she noticed many more notifications than usual, well she never did check her notifications for a month now-..

After at least 30 minutes have passed by, and Kason finally finished making dinner for the two, he called Kaitlyn down for dinner and started to take off his apron. Kaitlyn heard her name and ran down stairs, causing a lot of noise, to the kitchen. Kason smiled at her and welcomed her to eat up, she nodded her head and sat down awaiting for Kason, to pray for their food. Kaitlyn's never done this before, but she's learned about something like this..Kason sat next to her and started to pray while closing his eyes, Kaitlyn looked at him and copied her older brother's moves. A few seconds later they both said, "Thank you for the food!" and started to dig in. Kaitlyn took a bite of her food and squealed of happiness. She loved Kason's cooking, and only his, it was like she was on the clouds. He smiled at her back, taking another bite, Kaitlyn realized she hasn't asked Kason about where she's going for school and more. "Uhm Kason?" She questioned him quietly, he looked at his and tilted his head confused. "Yes?" He answered her roughly, still chewing on his food. Kaitlyn laughed at her older brother and started to play with her food. "So what middle school am I going to?" Kason looked at her and tried to remember the school name for a second. "Oh I believe it's called "Yakho Middle School"(made up name.) He said to her and continued to take bites of his food. Kaitlyn looked at her food and mumbled quietly to herself. "Yakho Middle School...?" Kason swallowed his food and looked at Kaitlyn for a second before taking another bite. "You'll be going to school in about 3 weeks. So get used to here soon." He said to her as she took a bite of her food being quiet, busy thinking about what school could look like and more. Kaitlyn sighed and popped her knuckles, as she would always do. "Can't wait for school I guess.." She mumbled to herself as she took her last bite off the plate of food.
