The travel was silent.
After her Message with Leinas just after the group went to sleep nothing much happened.
Prism used her time to observe the three young people in front of her, they were indeed young, but for this worlds standard they would be considered adults, Hekkeran was barely considered a adult though.
With a glance to her side, Arche slept with her head on Prism's thigh, to Prism she was an actual and true bundle of talent, she was scrambling her head to figure if she should claim it into her 'faction' as she did with Leinas: in a way or another, or if she should just let her run her course.
By her analysis she should be around level 7, as for the rest of the group would be 12, and that would be already generous.
Prism, with what she confirmed with her experiments on Leinas, New World people only level up by experience, true experience: not the kill mob get exp kind, they needed to move and train their bodies, study spells for years, and that might not be enough in the end.
People had their own efficiency in gathering experience in certain areas or Job classes, people like Leinas' are born with extra proficiency rate in certain classes, in her case would be clerical-fighting type, Arche's would be arcane magic, and there were those who didn't have that, and could barely go over level 20.
Unfortunately most of the group was like that, Imina seemed to have some kind innate talent, Prism could see that: it wasn't that hard for her to see it with the visual aid of a magical item.
The slime girl took a fraction of a second to divert an 'ambush' from a group of three goblins, they wouldn't be a threat anyway, the wagon would out-speed them anyway, but it was an automatic command to her body.
Feeling a shift from the smaller girl, Prism looked down to Arche rubbing her eye and sitting up, "Slept well?" The blonde girl nodded, the bags under her eyes told her it wasn't the best she could have though, without a word Prism used Nature Breath, a buff that regenerates stamina slowly for 3 minutes, "You sleep most of the journey, how you feeling? Any pain?" The blonde shook her head, finishing with a yawn.
"What about you?" The girl's eyes shone with the unconscious activation of her talent as she looked at the slime.
"I had a good time of rest." Prism said, "Mind me asking some stuff about what you are capable of?" Arche shook her head, signaling a go ahead, "What tier magic can you use? And where were you taught?"
"I can use the simpler Tier 2 spells in Arcane Magic, I learned in the magic academy."
"Normal noble tutelage?"
"Hun." Arche nodded, "Because I'm a talent holder, I was taught by Lord Paradyne, so I was taught a bit more than the others my age." Prism nodded at the information, "I had to leave though. After my parents have became attainted, our family funds started decreasing, I couldn't pay the tuition."
That is one of the reasons Prism disliked the current state of the Empire, with the cleaning of the noble houses, many talents went away, and it was mostly impossible for someone associated with attainted people to get a job.
Being attainted meant everything wrong for an ex-noble, loss of pride and power, man would not be accepted anywhere for work, and woman without fighting skills like Arche could only work in brothels, where their noble lineage could go into use.
"What spells do you know?" Prism redirected the conversation.
"I don't know many from the 2nd Tier... I know Dark Vision, Invisibility, Darkness, Light and Message from the 2nd Tier." Arche said quite proudly, "I also know: Detect Magic, Identify, Magic Missile, Sleep, Control Flames, Create Bonfire, Fire Bolt and Gust plus Magic Arrow." Prism was impressed, by the standards of this world she was indeed good, but in YGGDRASIL's point of view, not so much, she was very bellow average, "I-I also know: Lesser Strengths, Lesser Dexterity, Magic Armor, Minor and Middle Cure Wounds."
