1. The First Snow

Hey! Before I get started, there will be some swearing in this story so if you aren't a fan of that, feel free to click off, but other than that there shouldn't be anything concerning.  I'll make sure to put a warning in the beginning of a chapter if there is, but this is mostly just cute stuff haha.  I prefer to use my own photos, but when I do use anything else I will credit it to the best of my ability, but most of it comes from Pinterest so I don't know the original artist(s)!  Enjoy :)

Snow was falling quietly on Tuesday morning, and the students at U.A found themselves transfixed by the beautiful scene of the school grounds covered in snow.  During passing periods, students were often either watching the snow fall from the windows in the school or running outside to play in it.  Winter had come late this year, as there wasn't even snow in December, but now that it had started falling, students and teachers alike were happy to see it.  It was time for lunch, which meant that a majority of students were headed outside to mess around in the snow, including most of class 1-A.  

Class 1-A had a very stressful year, and now that things had started to calm down, the class was ready to let loose and enjoy the scene outside.  Most of the students opted to go outside and build snowmen or have a snowball fight, however there were also those who decided to stay warm with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa inside. Bakugo and Kirishima were the first two out the door after Aizawa ended class, and they rushed outside to start building up a collection of snowballs to use on the other students when they arrived.  After seeing Bakugo and Kirishima sprint out the door, Midoriya decided that today was probably a good day to spend indoors with the friends that wouldn't attack him on sight.

Kacchan sure is excited about the snow, I better stay inside if I don't want to be pelted by snowballs.   He found himself walking over to Uraraka, who also didn't look to fond of going outside.  

"Hey Uraraka! Are you staying inside for lunch?"

"Hmm? Oh hey Deku" She didn't seem as excited as Midoriya would have expected.  "Yeah I'm actually not a big fan of snow, or the combo of snow and Bakugo."  Midoriya understood that much, although he loved the snow and was confused as to why Uraraka of all people didn't like it. 

"Why don't you like the snow?" He asked.  "It's fluffy, cold, pretty, and kinda tastes good!"  After realizing what he said he lightly blushed. Why did I say that? Snow is just water it doesn't taste like anything.  Now thoroughly embarrassed, he made to leave the room and get his lunch, but before he could he heard a voice say,

"I like the taste of snow too."  Midoriya was shocked to turn around and see Todoroki standing behind him.  The guy basically lived in snow, why would he like the taste of it?  Doesn't it just taste like water? 

"Y-you like the taste of snow? I would have thought you would be sick of it, since you make ice all the time." He scratched the back of his head and looked away as he asked Todoroki, still slightly embarrassed.

"I don't know, I guess it doesn't taste like much but it has a cool texture.  Also I make ice not snow so I usually enjoy it when it snows because it's a change from have ice.  It also decorates everything it lands on and I enjoy taking pictures of snowy scenes."

"I understand how pretty it is and everything," Uraraka said, bringing the conversation back to why she didn't like it.  "I just- well I always got snowballed by people in middle school and earlier so I just started to dread whenever snow fell. Especially now that were here and everyone is obsessed with fighting."  Midoriya definitely understood what she meant, as it was the same way form him when he and Kacchan were kids.  However, Midoriya's mom also made the snow days the funnest as she would take him sledding and skiing in the park near their house, so he always found ways to enjoy the snow. 

"Well, I'm gonna go get something to eat.  You coming Deku?" Uraraka asked.

"Oh, yeah! I'm getting pretty hungry myself.  I think I'm gonna stop at the cafe first though and get something to drink." He looked over to Todoroki, who seemed to be lost in thought and asked, "Do you want to come with me Todoroki? We can meet up with Uraraka in the cafeteria and all eat together!" He smiled.  I hope he agrees.  I want to know more about his photography, and to be honest I just want to get to know him better.  He closes himself off during training and class so lunch might be the only other time I can really talk to him. 

"Huh? Oh, sure Midoriya that sounds fun.  You said we're going to the cafe first right?"  He looked over at Midoriya who was all smiles as he heard Todoroki agree to come along.

"Yeah! I want to get something warm to drink since the cafeteria will be cold with some of the outside entrances right there."

"Will you guys please leave the room I want to take a nap while you're all gone."

The trio turned around to see Aizawa getting out his yellow sleeping bag and yawning. 

"O-oh sorry sensei! We'll leave you alone!" Midoriya frantically bowed and ushered his friends out of the room.
