I'm engaged!

He popped the question on the side of Black Mountain. I was literally freezing cold and had no clue what hit me until I saw his family standing there to greet me. Smiling and with cameras surrounding this circle of lights. He began to sing to me one of my favorite love songs by Enchanted: "So Close" making my heart melt inside. He has always been a good singer and I know when he does sing to me it comes straight from his heart. He said " from the first time I saw you, after I got to hang out with you..I knew you were the one for me. Mikayla Joy Bran will you marry me?" My world felt it had stopped. All of these years, I had dreamed of this moment. I had chose to wait for the right guy all through my 20's and my late teens. This was it! This was the moment I had been waiting for! I giggled inside knowing that this was the man I wanted to spend my life. I had no doubt about it. From the first conversation we had, I knew this man was something special I couldn't explain. I just knew I couldn't talk to him enough. Three to four hours of texting or talking couldn't satisfy me. I knew my answer, I nodded. "Yes." I went and hugged him, my foot shot up without any explanation. His family cheered at my answer. I felt like I was on top of the world. To think it almost didn't happen five years ago if I said "yes" to another man. One who clearly didn't care about me. The thought made me take in this beautiful moment all the more.
