Aria's P.O.V.
"Who's that dude sitting in your desk?" Ellie quietly asks me while looking straight at the dark haired stranger.
"I have no idea, I've never seen him around before... Maybe he's new?" I shrug my shoulders.
"Well I think you should go tell him to find a new seat since that's been your desk since the first day of school" Ellie lightly pushes me towards the new guy.
I shake my head no before saying "I don't want to be rude or anything... Besides I'm sure Mrs. Wood will assign him a seat once class begins".
"Fine. If you won't do it, I will" my friend says before walking straight up to the guy sitting in my desk.
I quickly follow behind her just to make sure she doesn't be mean to him or anything.
"Excuse me, but who are you?" Ellie questions him.
He looks up from his phone and gives us a shy smile before telling his name is Dylan.
"Well Dylan, I hate to break it to you but that seat is already taken" Ellie smiles back before giving me a quick glance.
"Oh, is it yours?" Dylan asks as he starts to gather all his stuff.
"No, it's mine" I speak up and send him a small smile.
"Oh, my bad. I'm sorry, I'll just go sit somewhere else then. Do you guys mind telling me which desks aren't taken yet?" He kindly asks.
"Well actually nobody sits in this desk right here" I point to the empty desk that's right beside me on my left.
"Oh cool, thanks... Sorry, I don't think you've given me your name?" Dylan asks me before taking his spot right next to mine.
"Aria. Aria Eden" I simply reply before Ellie sits in the desk behind me.
"And yours?" Dylan looks over at my blonde best friend.
"Ellie Miller" she answers him before our English teacher Mrs.Wood walks into the classroom.
"Good morning everyone. I've been informed that I have a new student in my classroom named Dylan Holland. Am I correct?" She says while searching throughout the room for an unfamiliar faces.
"Yes, that would be me" Dylan raises his hand and smiles.
"Well it's nice to meet you Mr. Holland. Are you new to this school?" Mrs.Wood smiles back.
"I am".
"If you don't mind telling us, where did you come from?".
"I moved here from California actually. So Texas is pretty different to me" Dylan chuckles.
"Well Welcome to Bayview High School, I hope you end up liking this school and that everyone around you makes you feel welcomed" our teacher politely tells him before handing out our assignment for the day.
"Hey, can I check out your schedule real quick?" Ellie whispers to Dylan after Mrs.Wood explained the paper we're supposed to do in class.
"Sure" Dylan hands her the sheet of paper that shows all of his classes for the rest of the year.
"Looks like you have fifth period with Ellie and I. You also have calculus with me sixth period" I tell Dylan while looking at his schedule as well.
