The whole house sounded peaceful with the only sounds of the television playing being heard from the doorstep. Amar knocked lightly on the door and it was instantaneously opened by Ameerah who looked shocked to see Habiba standing beside him.

"Welcome back Habiba" She said and Habiba smiled weakly.

"Mummy!" Amal yelled from inside the livingroom and gave Habiba a bone crushing hug. "My love, how are you?" Habiba asked Amal.

"I'm good mumy, Welcome I missed you. Why are you bruised all over your body?" Amal asked while touching Habiba's injured arms.

"I played with a sharp objects" Habiba said and Amar Chuckled.

"Amal let mummy in, she's tired" Amar said and Amal nodded and made way for Habiba to pass. She walked into the house and it looked  extremely disorganized, Ameerah was a dirty woman after all.

She ignored all the dirt's that laid around and walked upstairs along with Amar who held her hand lovingly. He was happy he had gotten her back into his life and there was nothing than that to him.

Ameerah on the other hand watched her with great envy, she wasn't happy that Habiba had returned alive. Her brother is a fool, she thought.

She made her way towards Amal and the both continued watching the amazing movie that was shown on Netflix.

"Remember, no getting up. You need to rest" Amar pecked Habiba on the cheeks and she Chuckled.

"Alright sir" she mocked and he laughed. "And I have great news for you as well" he said while massaging her legs Calmly.

"Sadiq has been caught and Arrested" he said Habiba smiled weakly.

"Well he deserved it" she said and Amar nodded.

"What about Ameerah, how do we break this news to her?" Habiba asked.

"She doesn't need to know, infact I don't trust her"Amar said.

"She's your wife" Habiba said.

"Yes I know and that gives me more reasons to doubt her. I know Ameerah very well" he said.

"Hmm" she hummed and he chuckled.

"You see, Ameerah and I both met in secondary school. I was in Senior secondary school three, while she was in Junior secondary school four" he began narrating the story of how they met. "I liked and asked her out and she accepted and we began dating for seven years. And then we decided to get married but my mum and sisters did not like her at all. You know why?" He asked.

"No" she responded.

"Because Ameerah had a criminal record, and my mum got to find out despite my efforts to hide it from her. And do you know her crime?" He asked and she said a no once again.

"She stabbed a man on the stomach just Because he beat her brother. But luckily for her, the man did not die and released all his charges against her because he was paid by her family to" he said "So my mum Hated and feared her but what could she do, she wanted me to be happy" he said.

"So what are you trying to say?" Habiba questioned.

"I'm trying to say that she might have a hand in your kidnapping and I am certain about that" he said.
