The Pettigrew twins gripped their trunks tightly, each holding one parent's hand as they ran through the platform. A twisting feeling pushed from Paisley's lower abdomen up to her head as they were sent to the express. The bright red train glistened with the lack of light radiating off of it, the horn blaring as children ran from their parents into compartments. Peter and Paisley looked at one another, their lips plastered with grins as they turned to their parents, hugging them goodbye.
"Don't worry mum I'll see you for Christmas." The ginger smiled brightly, hugging her mother.
Her brother hugged her father before they swapped, hugging the other parents as the train blared its horn once more. Paisley looked from her father to her mother before turning to her brother and grasping onto his hand. She pulled the boy away from their parents, dragging him into the train before letting him out of her grasp.
"Now let's find a compartment Peter."
The young boy nodded, cautiously following behind his sister. Paisley walked from compartment to compartment, always coming up empty handed until she looked at the furthest away. Perfect. The girl hastily opened the compartment to be met with three pairs of eyes.
"Erm I was wondering if you had room for two more?" She stammered, moving to the side to show her twin.
The trio radiated bright smiles and one nodded, patting the seat beside him for one of the two. Peter scurried over to the seat next to the boy, leaving Paisley to sit in between the other two. She sat there silently for a moment, admiring the three boys she'd brought herself to meet. The boy Peter sat beside was undoubtedly a Black; the long black hair and posh attitude gave that away immediately, which left her to scan her attention to the boys she sat in between. To her left was a young brunette. He looked more youthful than the other two, his expression silent, lost of all hope, yet he seemed the most amazed out of the entirety of them. To her right, a raven haired boy with rounded glasses framing his small face. He seemed more timid than the Black descendant, yet more hopeful than the brunette beside her. A trio of outcasts, yet nonetheless she was more intrigued than ever by guys. Thus, why she spoke up.
"Paisley Pettigrew." She blurted, causing the three boys and her brother to look towards her.
She smiled, "My name. I'm Paisley Pettigrew. That's my brother Peter."
"James Potter." The boy to the right of her smiled.
The Black caught her attention next, "Sirius Black."
"Lupin." The last boy peeped, "Remus Lupin."
Her eyes trailed back over to the boy, he has finally taken his gaze from the window and was now looking back at her with his honey colored eyes.
"Pleasure."
She stuck her hand out, allowing the reluctant boy to shake it before turning back to the window. A smile crept across her face as she opened her book and flipped through to find where she had left off. The five sat in silence for moments until James broke it, asking her timid brother about his life. The duo spoke with Sirius joining in while Remus and Paisley sat quietly. The boy's eyes trailed over to the girl multiple times. Watching as her hair was tucked behind her ears and her eyebrows furrowed when she read. A tight lipped grin invaded him as he turned back to the window, watching as the mountains flew by. Of course, they were all distracted when the compartment door swung open.
"Possibly have room for one more? My compartment is crowded."
A boy lurked behind the ginger, none of the boys seeming to notice. James lent an eager head nod and the girl smiled brightly.
"Alright Sev I found you somewhere."
The boy stepped from behind her. His greasy black hair refusing to move as he walked into the compartment.
"Actually it's only four to one and we already have five. I think we're too crowded." Sirius barked, glaring over at James.
Paisley smirked, loving the scene which was unfolding, so she went alone.
"Nonsense. I'll find somewhere else." She stood from her seat, "Pleasure meeting you"
"Severus." He peeped.
"Right. Severus." She nodded to him and made her way out of the compartment.
The ginger outside stood in shock. Paisley exchanged it with a smile, sticking her hand out.
"Paisley Pettigrew."
"Lily." She timidly spoke, "Lily Evans."
"Well Lily Evans I believe we'll be arriving soon. I suggest we change into our robes."
She nodded, "Meet me back in front of your compartment after we change."
Paisley nodded, a smile engulfing her face as she skipped back to the compartment. She slammed open the door, gaining five heads to turn her way.
"Apologies for intruding. I just need to grab my robes."
She stepped into the compartment and made her way beside James. Sadly, the girl was cursed with being short, as was her brother, so she couldn't reach her luggage without climbing onto the seat. James saw this and jumped up, grabbing her luggage with ease. He earned a small thank you from the girl which he returned with bringing his lips to her ears. She faltered, her face flustering immensely as his hot breath ran down her neck.
"I am getting you back for letting Snivellus here take your spot. You were much more compelling."
She spun on her feet, grasping onto his fresh robes, and brought his blue eyes down to her level.
"You weren't too bad yourself."
With that she let his robes fall, sending the boy and wink before walking out of the compartment.
"Merlin Pete. Your sister's hot." Sirius exhaled, patting the short boy on the chest.

"So Lily. Who's your new friend here."
"Paisley Pettigrew" She answered herself, "Ravenclaw."
"Merlin you're the sister of the small boy in that group. Peter." The brunette gasped, "I'm Isla Rowle."
Paisley smiled, turning to the other girls to introduce herself.
"Mary Macdonald."
"Alice Fortescue."
The ginger smiled before piling down on the couch in the Gryffindor common room beside the rest of the girls.
"Well well. How did a Ravenclaw get into my common room so easily."
All five girls turned their heads to look at the cocky boy who spoke. A smirk played at Paisley's face. She stood from her seat and walked up to the tall teen boy.
"Ask yourself that question again Potter I think you can answer that yourself."
She attempted to get near his face, but he was tall, much taller than her brother who only stood centimeters higher than her. Not very frightening at all.
"Found ourselves a pretty lady off the streets have we Jamie."
Paisley was now backed into a wall with none other than Sirius Black standing overtop of her. Both James and Sirius towered over her and no matter how much she hated to admit it, them two as well as Remus, were turning out to be extremely good looking boys. Her heart fluttered as Sirius got closer and closer to her short stature, yet she stayed audacious.
"Y'know Black. Your brother is darling. Regulus was it? Mind if you put in the good word for me?"
"Didn't know you had a thing for younger boys Pettigrew."
"Usually don't but you know. Pure blood supremacy." She gasped, putting a hand to her head and pretending to faint.
The boy chuckled, backing away slightly, but refusing to let his notorious smile falter. A chuckle fell from Paisley's lips as she looked into the boy's silver eyes. The girls behind the duo giggling at the encounter.
"You're different from other girl's Pais." James spoke from behind the Black descendant.
"Thank Merlin. Couldn't go around acting posh like one of Black's cousins now could I?" She smirked, "Now if you two don't mind I'll be stealing the brains of your group for some studying."
The ginger pushed past the tall boys, making her way to Remus. He grasped onto her frail hand, leading her through the door and out of the common room.
"Is that my sister I heard?" Peter asked, walking down the long stairs with his hair a mess and a yawn falling from his mouth.
"A little late you are mate." James chuckled, patting the boy on the back.
"I stand to what I said first year Pete. That sister of yours is hot."
"Agreed Sirius."
"I hate you both."
