Chapter 4: Plan to save River

Bryan's POV:

Mario had organized a meeting so we could devise a plan.

Mario: "Seductive Rose is up to something if he's targeting River, and we need to figure out why!"

Xylo chimed in: "Maybe he's going after River because of his connection to Bryan?"

At his words, I couldn't help but look down as Inpu wrapped an arm around me, trying to soothe my worries.

Kaykrae added, "Xylo makes a good point. Now that we understand his motivation, the real question is how do we save River?"

A heavy silence hung over us for a moment until Mario exhaled deeply.

Mario: "If Seductive Rose is anything like last time, he must have a hideout! If we locate it, we can save River."

I nodded in agreement. "Exactly, Mario! Find the hideout, and we find River!"

Xylo shook his head. "But how do we track it down? I doubt he'll use the same method as before with that floating island mansion!"

Kaykrae interjected, "That's a solid point! From what you all have shared, he didn't target you—he just kidnapped River."

Xylo nodded affirmatively. "Right, and he seems to have grown stronger with new abilities, so we must tread carefully!"

3rd Person's POV:

As Mario, Xylo, and Kaykrae continued brainstorming ways to rescue River, Inpu maintained a comforting embrace around Bryan.

InpU: "It's going to be alright, Bryan. We'll bring him back safely!"

Bryan looked up at Inpu, his expression a mix of worry and hope.

Bryan: "I hope so, Inpu... with all my heart!"
