10. Goodbye

3rd person's pov :

Beam looks at the wall clock for sixth times . It's getting darker . Where is Forth ? The classes should have ended by this time . Should he call him ?

He was just in those thought when the doorbell rings .
"Owh .." Beam walks towards the door .

"You are late ." Beam greets Forth with a small pout .

"I am not . I had some jobs to do , for you ." Forth chuckles .

"For me ?" Beam frowns and let Forth come in .."by the way , where is your bag ?"

"I don't need it . I am cool ." Forth sits on the sofa calmly "we need to talk ."

" Huh ? " Beam sits beside Forth "Forth , I can't connect with your lines . What are you talking about ?"

"Ok ! Let me talk then .. remember the last time you fought with Kit ?"

"I fight with him everyday ." Beam becomes impatience .

"In medical foodcourt , you guys were talking about Pha . I was there ." Forth stops .

" And ?"

" So , I came to know about the real reason of our deal . "

"That's why you broke the deal ? It's ok , Forth . The deal is over . I told you in the morning . And sorry for lying to you . I acted a bit immature . So , all good ?" Beam speaks without taking any breath . He doesn't know why he is nervous suddenly .

"No , I don't need your sorry Beam . I didn't mind that . It's just I found your reason so stupid . And I wanted to say it's not gonna work . Being like me ... you know ?" Forth smiles thinly .

"Ahh ... it's ok ! I gave up on that . You don't need to think all of this . Don't worry . " Beam stops .

"So , you said you are not angry with me ? Then let's go out for a dinner ? My treat as sorry .. " Beam suggests . He still feels uncomfortable . Forth is giving out a cold aura .. it's not warm as always .

"No Beam . I called Pha here . You guys really need to talk it out . Look, Pha was a highschool student back then . We all were .. we all were immature . What is said that time ... "

"What are you implying on Forth ?" Beam stops Forth's rant with a shaky voice .

"Pha may accept you now . You should stay the way you are and confess to Pha . May be , you will get the love you always wanted ." Forth smiles thinly . "Talk it out ."

"I .. I didn't ask you to do that ." Beam glàres at Forth with teary eyes .

"I have said nothing to Pha . I just called him here . But I think he guessed it somehow . So .... be brave Beam ." Forth holds Beam's shoulder tightly .

"I ... I don't want ... I asked you to live with me .. why are pushing me toward Pha ? Am I a thing ?" Beam shouts .

"Beam ... " Forth couldn't say anything further as the doorbell rings again .

Forth looks at the door "there he is ."

"No ... no ... " Beam holds Forth's hand "please Forth ... no .. don't .."

"Beam be brave . Don't panic . You are beautiful the way you are ." Forth wipes the tear stains from Beam's cheek .

" No ... " Beam shakes his head again .

Forth's pov :

He is still that nerd whom I loved . He still fears too much . But I can't let him suffer . If he loves Pha and Pha can love him back then who am I to mendle .

I know , it was the time when I could have been shelfish and take advantage of his broken heart . But I love him too much to that .

I love you Beam . I will do what you want . Doesn't matter how much it hurts me .

I walks towards the door "Hi Pha .."

"Hi ! I thought you will not be here . You said , I need to talk to him personally ." Pha smiles .

"Yeah ! I will leave soon ." I let pha come in . I need to make sure Beam doesn't freak out before leaving .

"Beam , what happened ? Why are you crying ?" Pha kneels in front of Beam .

Ah ! Do I really have to see this ? I walks backwards and leans on the wall . Speak out Beam . Atleast your love will be complete .

3rd person's pov :

" Forth .... Forth..." Beam sobs .

"Forth said you guys are not together . You have loved only once in your life . Is it true ?" Pha asks .

Beam froze . He looks at Pha with a shocked expression .

"Back then , I thought you and Kit were pranking me . Or it was some kind of bet when you proposed me . So I just came up with an upper hand . " Pha stops . Beam blinks .

"I am really sorry Beam . I didn't mean any words from my heart that day . I just said it randomly . I am really sorry for hurting you ." Pha holds Beam's hand .

"I wanted to say this before but I thought you and Forth are together .. so , I decided to leave the past ." Pha hugs Beam "I am sorry Beam . Please don't be hurt ."

Beam comes out of the daze when Pha hugs him . He looks at Forth with a frown .

Forth who was leaning at the wall smiles at him . The he utters a goodbye before turning around .

Lam looks at Park who is now busy in eating . He smiles . "Are you that much hungry ?"

"I am storing my food Lam . Next I will eat in flight ." Park grins .

"When is your flight ?" Lam asks .

"1 am . It's already 8 pm . I will reach airport from here ."

"Owh .. Forth is going to drop you ?"

"No .. I will go there alone . I have my luggage in my car ." Park drinks the water . "Thank you P' for the treat ."

Lam blinks "huh .. P' ?"

"Yeah .. ! I should address you properly at least before leaving ." Park smiles .

Lam smiles too . He looks into Park's eyes for a long time ....

"Yeah ! Best of luck with your new life ." Lam smiles dearly .

Park stands up . "Bye bye P'Lam ."

Lam blinks . He utters a mute 'Goodbye' with his trembling lips .
