Summary
19 year olds-Taehyung and jungkook are bestfriends from their kindergarten period. As years passed by, their friendship grew along with them,making their bond stronger and stronger. Offcourse they fought with eachother here and there but it would always end up with them cuddling, on either one of their beds before that day ends. Everything was going well….that was until jungkook's feelings for taehyung grew into something more than he must feel for a friend. He wanted him to be more than just a friend with taehyung but the said male just saw him as a friend. So he has no other choice than to suppress his feelings inside him in order to save his friendship. No one other than himself knows about his feelings,all because of his ability to keep his feelings within and he wants it to be like that as long as he could...

"Jungkookie~ I don't wanna go to the class~",taehyung whined as he hugged the slightly younger male who rolled his eyes at his friend but his smile said otherwise.
"Tae~ You always act like this every morning. Just like a baby~ You always make me feel as if I'm sending my child to the kindergarten for the first time!",jungkook whined back.
"A baby calling me a baby~",taehyung muttered under his breath as he tightened his grip around jungkook while they kept walking towards their class.
"What do you mean,you dumbo!? I can even carry you to our class if I want to. ",jungkook grumbled,hating but secretly loving the fact that he was called as a baby.
"I don't care if you could carry me or not~ You'll always be my baby~ Moreover, you must be proud of me that I cooperated with you when you decided to tutor me yesterday~ I deserve to be praised,my baby koo~",taehyung said as a matter of factly which made jungkook to roll his eyes.
"Pfft~ Look at this guy who wants to be praised by his baby~ ",jungkook mocked but before taehyung could say anything, jimin interrupted them.
"Can you guys continue your bickerings after the class? We're almost late and unlike you, people like me hates detentions with passion",he grumbled and dragged both the male towards the class by their ears.
"Ooof! Finally!! Jiminie! Buy two hamburgers for us! And also! A strawberry milkshake for me and a banana milkshake for koo! Thank you so much!",taehyung shouted at jimin who was standing near the cafeteria counter and sat on their usual table along with jungkook.
"Are you two royals or what!? Can't you guys buy your own foods!?",taehyung heard the shorter male shout but just decided to ignore him as he was busy side hugging jungkook.
"Tae~ You're squeezing me~ Leave me alone~",jungkook whined though his lips were adored with a soft smile.
"Oho~ I know that you secretly love my hugs,koo~ Don't be shy~ Just accept it",taehyung said with his eyes still closed which made the hyungs to snicker at the two youngers.
"These two are so in love with eachother. They Infact act like boyfriends without their own knowledge. When do you think they'll realize their own feelings, joonie? I desperately want my ship to sail",jin whined gaining everyone's attention in the table other than the love birds who were in their own world.
"What do you expect from the dumb and the dumber? But sooner or later, they'll for sure start a relationship. I can clearly see that happening in the near future",namjoon mumbled as he fondly eyed at the two youngers who seemed to be peaceful in eachother's arms.
"When did you become a fortune teller,Mr.Joonie?",yoongi asked but soon yelped when jin pinched his arm.
"Go back to sleep before I smash you with my toe nail,yoongay. Always making fun of my joonie",he grumbled and instantly yoongi went back to sleep and hoseok who was witnessing this couldn't help but chuckle loudly.
This was normal in the day to day life of these 7 friends but their chaotic yet peaceful moment was interrupted by a girly voice. Mina
"Taehyung~",she called in a whiny tone and jungkook had to control his every nerve from just grabbing a blade and shave the girl's hair completely.
"What is it,Mina? Can't you see that I'm busy?",taehyung grumbled out, with his head still resting on jungkook's shoulder.
"You're just resting your head on his shoulder. Why are you always pushing me away, tae? I like you,taehyung! Why can't you see that!? Why won't you give me a chance!?",she cried loudly, earning everyone's attention in the cafeteria and jimin who just noticed this,bolted towards their table.
"Mina,please understand. I don't like you like that",taehyung said,this time a bit serious and everyone in the table including jungkook felt bad for the crying girl.
"Is it because of him?",she cried which made taehyung to frown at the question.
"What do you mean?",he asked as he glared at the girl.
"I've never seen you date anyone. Is it because of jungkook? Is he stopping you-",she asked as she glared at jungkook and taehyung had to hold himself from hitting her.
"Enough, Mina! You've gone beyond your limits! You don't have any rights to talk like that about my Jungkookie!",he snarled and even jungkook was surprised by the sudden behaviour change.
"I know that taehyung is always overprotective and extremely possessive towards jungkook. But he has never snapped at anyone like this, that too at a girl.",hoseok gasped at the scene.
And to be honest,taehyung had always tried his best to behave calmly in situations like this and has succeeded till day and that's why everyone in the cafeteria was shocked to see the bubbly boy act like this.
"I'm so sorry, taehyung. Its just that….I really like you.",she apologised, clearly intimidated by him.
"Give me one chance. I'll prove you how much I love you.Please~",she literally begged and jungkook felt sorry for her.
"Tae",he gently grabbed the slightly taller's arm to get his attention.
"Go on a d-date with her. Just give it a try",he said in a hushed tone.
"But,koo! I don't wanna-
"I'm not telling you to get into a relationship with her immediately. I'm just telling you to go on a date before you reject her. Who knows~ she might be your dream girl",though it sounded playfull, it was really painful for jungkook to say that. But he did. For the sake of taehyung's wellbeing because though Mina was a bit nagging, she's a good girl and if things works out,she would take good care of taehyung in the future.
"Alright. But only for you",taehyung whispered back before turning towards Mina, clearly missing the painful smile on jungkook's face but their hawk like hyungs didn't miss it.
"Why do I feel like kookie has already realized his feelings for tae?",jin whispered,particularly to no one.
"If it is so,then he's totally a dumbo",yoongi whispered back as he eyed the youngest,totally concerned.
"Alright, Mina. Meet me at the paradise cafe by 6 this evening. But if I still don't feel anything for you, promise me that you won't come after me. Do you agree to my condition?",yoongi heard taehyung speak and couldn't help but sigh loudly when he saw jungkook's heartbroken face.
"Indeed a dumbo",he muttered under his breath because what more could he do at the moment?
Regret. That was the only thing jungkook felt when he reached his home. After college, he had to literally beg taehyung to go straight to his own house instead of dropping him at his,so that he could get ready for his date leisurely. And now, jungkook felt like shit just by the thought of it.
"Did I really do the right thing by asking tae to go on a date with Mina?",he thought as he removed his hoodie.
"What am I even thinking? Even if its not Mina, tae will eventually fall for someone, and for your information,it will surely not be you, jungkook. Don't even think about that.",he thought and couldn't help but feel tears form in his eyes.
"Not again. We've already dealt with this,kookie. Don't even try to cry again. Just take a nap. You'll be atleast distracted for a bit",he murmured to himself as he jumped on his bed and snuggled in his comforter with just an oversized t-shirt and boxers.
