Is the last thing I could say before my world turns black and my eyes were shut. I want to open my eyes, but I couldn't do it, all I hear is the sound of siren and people shouting outside. My body feels hot as if there are fires around me and all I can do is lay down effortlessly.

''Seo Hyeon .. don't .. I'll save you .. every .. fine ..'' I hear voices and then I can feel my weak body being carried by someone.

And that's the last thing I know.

Time Skip

I opened my eyes, trying to figure out where I am. It was such a bright light, how long have I been asleep? I can hear beeps of machine and the clothes I'm wearing, is different then what I remembered.

''oh, you're awake. You slept for three hours, don't worry I'll call your dad immediately'' An unfamiliar female voice spoke. Her face was a bit blurry since I still haven't get used to the bright lights.

Wait, appa? What happened to me? I don't remember anything at all.

The door creaks open revealing a man with worried plastered all over his face, my dad.

''Are you okay? Do you feel better now? Thank god I found you on the right moment'' My dad asked, which made me confused.

''What .. happened actually? I can't remember anything'' It's true, my mind went blank about the event.

He sighed and hold my hand. I can feel the affection of a father which made me almost teared up. I missed this, so much. Ever since mom left, all I hoped for was dad's affection and this is it.

''Listen, sweetheart. All this time, you've been inheriting your mother, which is a normal human. No quirks or super abilities. But all of a sudden, I saw you accidentally using a quirk while you sleep. It was something I've never seen before''

''What ..?''

He caressed my cheek and smiled slightly.

''For you to continue your study at normal school is a bit dangerous, you still can't control your quirk so I transfered you to Yeong-Eung Academy for your further training''

Me? Being in a school filled with heroes and it involved training? No way, nuh-uh. I don't even have friends back at school and plus, training must be painful.

''And also, you'll be staying in a dorm so I bought everything needed for you''

''Thanks, I guess ..''

And with that being said, he left the room and then it was just me, rethinking my life decisions.

So appa said I have a quirk, maybe I should give it a try so I could find out what quirk I have

I closed my eyes and stretch my hands to focus on letting the quirk out. I swear to god, I could feel my forehead sweating even though I'm in an air-conditined room. It almost feels like my powers are taking control of my body.

''Um, what are you doing?''

My eyes shot open.

''Wahhh-!'' I screamed before the person shut me up by using their quirk.

All I could do was let out a muffled screams, if I weren't being shut like this, I would be screaming my lungs out.

''Chill, you were doing a weird hand-thingy so I can't stand looking at it without laughing'' He giggled, yes, a he.

I never felt so embarrassed in my life. What am I thinking? Didn't appa already tell me to train first? If only I could hide underground, I would. Now a boy is lauging at me for the stupid thing I did.

''What's your name?'' He asked with a giggle.

I look at him whilst pointing at my mouth and he immediately understand.

''Sorry, heh'' He undo the quirk.

''My name's Seo Hyeon, Park Seo Hyeon''

''My name's Choi Jung Hoon, nice to meet you'' He hold out his hand and I take it with a slight hesitant.

But who in the world is he? Do I know him by any chance?
