It is the day of Tris and Tobias's date. Tobias goes to pick her up. They go to the dauntless diner. There is karoke and Tris says that she wants to do the karoke. Tobias goes and signs her up for it. Her name gets called. She sings Hurricane by Bridgit Mendler.

She says can you sing better and he said yes. Tris goes and puts Tobias on the list for the song All of me by John Legend. His name gets called. He sees the song he is singing and says this is a song for me and my girlfriend Tris. Her face reddens. He starts.

The song is over and everybody is clapping. He goes and sits down Tris kisses him and said that she was glad that she was his girlfriend. They go past Tobias's house and he gets chills. Tris said that he could stay over at her house
