Chapter 2

Izzy's P.O.V
* A week later *

All the signs were formed , all sent off.

I remember Aimee saying. how proud of me she was and how she knows that we will do well.

We made a you tube video a couple of days after saying that we were auditioning for the X-Factor , we got 654 views and 112 comments they were all good luck comments and saying that they were all going to watch.

They announced on T.V yesterday that the forms will be sent back saying if we got a place to audition this weekend.

I've been feeling ill all week , I just don't want to find out if we got a place or not , I don't feel like going to school some days , my mum has to physically drag me out my bed and get me dressed.

I don't want to be there when Aimee and I have to open the letter , I just want her to open it and tell me the news.

Having me singing with Aimee , on the T.V for thousands of people to see it , I just don't think I could take that , I know I'll screw something up , I'll either have a panic attack , forget my words or just freeze.

I just don't understand why Aimee won't go on herself , she's so much better than me.

Aimee's P.O.V

Izzy hasn't been herself lately she hasn't been getting out of bed for school, she doesn't eat , her mum says that she's being sick quite regularly.

She doesn't speak to hardly anyone, she shuts herself in her room when she gets back from school, she falls asleep in most classes , she's looking as pale as a ghost.

I hope I'm not the one who brought this on her.

Izzy's P.O.V
* The Weekend *

Aimee texted me earlier today to tell me that she has the letter , she's coming over now so we can open it together.

To be honest I don't really want to be there when it's open , if we get through I'll be a lot happier than I am now and if we don't , I know I'll be the one who made us fail I know, I couldn't handle that crushing my dream and crushing my best friends dream , I don't think I could face her anymore.

* Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong *

" I'll get it!" I heard my mum shout from downstairs

I knew it was Aimee , I heard a few more voices as well as her own.

I crept down the stairs to see who these people where , only to be greeted by Aimee and her parents.

I said my hellos and asked how they were , then went to sit with Aimee.

She reached for her bag , I sucked in the air around me a little to loudly , she looked at me as if to ask are you ok , I nodded and let her continue.

She pulled the form out of her bag and placed in on our knees, everyone started to look at us.

I felt a boost of self confidence , we started to tear at opposite sides of the envelope.

As soon as we had ripped the flap open we looked at each other , smiled and then pulled the form out.

I wasn't concentrating any more I couldn't read the letters on the page , I felt really dizzy my hands started to get clammy and I began to shake. Aimee looked over at me gave me a reassuring smile and tried to calm me down.

" I can't read the page will you read it to me? " I asked her.

She nodded , and began to read it aloud.

" Dear Aimee Mason Lynskey and Isobella Keyworth ,
We would like to formally like to thank you for sending your form through , after taking time to watch your video and read through you form I am delighted to ask you girls if you would come down and audition for the X-Factor. " Aimee ready aloud and the screamed.

I had to take a double take I couldn't believe that we have been asked to audition for the X-Factor.

" Are you being serious ? " I asked Aimee.

" 100% serious " she replies.

I jump up from my seat and scream like an idiot I couldn't believe it.

Aimee ran over to me and I embraced her in one of my famous bear hugs, I suddenly felt more people add to the bear hug.

This has to be one of my favourite moments to date.
