'Oh my God, Jia. Jia can you hear us?' I hear panicked voices asking. I slowly open my eyes, and my head immediately started to pound.
'What the hell, why does my head hurt so much.' I ask as I try to figure out where I am. I look place my hand out in front of me trying to focus on it, when I see Yuri, stumbling to her feet. Fuck. Did I crash the car?
But Yuri didn't look quite right, she was wearing a black leather jacket and skinny jeans from what I could remember but now... it was a yellow hanbok.
'Erm guys, what's going on? What are you wearing that for?' I ask scratching my head, seeing that Mi Ran had a lime green hanbok and Eun Ha had a lilac coloured one on. And then I looked down and gasped. 'Why am I wearing this?!' I had a dusty pink hanbok on, not my usual choice of clothing I have to admit. That's when I heard an unfamiliar noise. 'Can anyone hear that sound?'
I see Yuri start looking around and could see that she also had the same puzzled look. 'It sounds like running horses.'
'Horses?!' Eun Ha partly shouted.
And that's when I could see two horses heading straight for us, it was also now I noticed that we were no longer in Seoul, we were in some kind of rural place. The horses were not alone. As the approached I could see a figure step down and walk towards us slowly.
And as he came closer I could not stop the words from falling out of my mouth. 'Fuck me. Is that Hoshi?!' I said my eyes wide.
'Jia if you have killed us, I'm going to murder you!' Yuri shouts as she runs towards me and then the guy who could be Kwon Soon-Young's twin stepped between us.
'I'm not sure if we're dead, but I'm definitely in heaven.' I say as I gaze up at the man in front of me.
'I'm Soon-Young and you are?' He asks me with a smirk playing on his lips. The other horses approach as I try to remember my name.
'Moon Jia. That's her name.' Yuri answers for me as I see another gentleman jump down from his horse and I shake my head.
'What the fuck is happening is that The8?' I squint.
Now it was Yuri's turn to forget who she was. "Soon-Young" steps closer to me and I forget how to breathe as usual.
'My brother Minghao and I were passing when we heard you ladies talking, it seems you aren't from around here.' Soon-Young asks.
'You could say that.' I reply. 'Is there some sort of event going on? Why are you wearing those outfit? And by any chance do you know why -we- are wearing these outfits...' I smile at him sweetly.
'This is our usual attire, is it not?' He replies. And I frown looking at my friends confused.
'Pardon my sounding a little strange, but what year is it?' Mi Ran asked stepping forward.
'941.' Minghao said also stepping forward. And I could feel my head start to spin. Did he just say it was 941? 'Would you like us to escort you back to your husbands?' He asks us looking at Yuri and she snorts.
'Pff husbands, funny one you are.' I look at her and shake my head, this was no joke.
'Could you just give us a moment.' I smile at the two men before hurriedly ushering my friends to one side. 'Guys I don't mean to sound like a complete lunatic, but I think we may have time traveled.'
'You think?!' Eun Ha shouts. 'I feel like I'm in a freaking drama.' She rolls her eyes before pacing. 'What do we do?'
'Well shall we just go with them and just wing it what's the worst that can happen.' Yuri pipes up. And I really wish she hadn't. They had three horses in total, I was helped up onto the Hoshi look alikes horse, Yuri with "The8" and Eun Ha and Mi Ran on the extra one.
'You've got to be kidding me. They're not the princes?' I heard Mi Ran say from behind us as we approach a large palace.
I gently tap Soon-Young on the shoulder. 'Excuse me, but if you don't mind me asking why are we at a palace.' I pull a smile that would have scared any normal man away.
'It's our home.' He replied and I nod slowly, of course it is. He jumps down off his horse and holds out his hand for me to also get down, now I having never even been near a horse before this encounter, my footing was all wrong and before I knew it I was on top of the poor guy.
I gasp and immediately scramble my way up to my feet. 'I'm so sorry.' I hold out my hand for him. 'Here let me help you up.' He looks at me with a tilted head and pushes himself up off the ground.
I turn around and look at the other girls who shrug and also get down. 'Um well thank you for the ride. We'll find our way home from here thank you.' I nod and brush my hands against my clothes. I see Minghao look at Soon-Young and he nods.
'Why don't you stay here for the evening?' Minghao chirps up and we all look around shocked.
'Here?' Mi Ran replies.
'Yes.' Yuri says at the same time with one of her mischievous smirks and we all spin our heads to look at her.
