Clip, Clop, Clip, Clop, Snort, Neigh. Kiara was starting to get tired of the sound of the horses and the wheels of the carriage. She started to imagine how the school would look like when suddenly a great, big castle made with rubies, diamonds, emeralds, crystals, and other types of gems appeared in front of her very own eyes. She stared in wonder at the majestic, beautiful castle. It was way more beautiful than she could ever imagine.

The carriage jerked to a stop and shook Kiara out of her trance. The footmen helped her out and she waved at the spectators politely. She stepped nimbly and gracefully on to the red carpet prepared for her. She entered the magnificent castle and, oh, it was even more elegant on the inside. At the intersection of the two stairs (lined with red carpets) Kiara met two thrilling light blue eyes. She looked up to see who it was and in front of her stood a blonde boy wearing a slight smirk on his face. He was dressed in a simple tunic and two polished shoes.

"And who might you be?" asked the mysterious boy when he noticed that she was staring at him.

"Oh, my name is Princess Kiara, daughter of King Adam and Queen Belle," she said blushing slightly.

Before she was able to continue any conversation, a trumpet sounded: "Too-too-too-too-toooooom! Too-too-too-toom! Too-too-too-toooooo-toooooo-toom! "

"Ladies and gentlemen, Princesses and Princes, welcome to the Royal Middle School! We are overjoyed to have you here either watching the students as spectators or attending the school themselves. Students please line up on both sides, and spectators take a step behind so you are off the carpet. Princesses on the right, Princes on the left. Thank you!" an announcer spoke through the speakers.

There was a great deal of hustle and bustling about after the short intro speech and eventually everyone settled down in the right places. Kiara could spot some familiar faces from royal parties. That must be Aisha and Queen Tiana is her mom! There is Cinderella's daughter, Marella. And there are the twins of Mulan, Ash and Ashley.

a song. I wonder who that belongs to? Soon she found out. The unique voice was coming from the Fairy Godmother which was also the principal of the school! She was an old aged woman who apparently looks 20 years younger. Blue, pink and white are probably her signature colors and she also had a silver magical looking wand.

"Princess Kiara, daughter of King Adam and Queen Belle and Prince Alexander, son of King Firdinand and Queen Snow White, step forward please,"

She was quite startled but recovered quickly and stepped forward with as much grace as she could muster. Her yellow, shiny dress swishing with each step she took. She joined a similar heighted, brown haired boy (Prince Alexander) on the rosy red carpet and took his hand. This was what her parents practiced rehearsing her for. Hold your head high, wave and smile. That was how you acted like royalty. Pretty simple right?

She climbed several flights of hard stone stairs and made it to the top. Prince Alexander on the other hand, (no pun intended) was huffing and puffing heavily. If you wonder why I'm not in a similar state, it is most obviously because princesses are built for stairs. Remember Cinderella and her shoe situation? Royal parents now teach their children how to properly run up and down the stairs. Well, at least the girls get taught... I'm not sure about the boys.

Anyways, the Fairy Godmother (which I had mentioned earlier) met us there with a warm, welcoming smile. Standing atop a pedestal she gave us the signal to curtsy/bow and walk into the East Wing. And so we did exactly as she said.

"Are you okay, you seem to have lost your breath when we went up the stairs?" I said after we were away from the audience's hearing.

"Oh, I'm fine thank you," He replied looking quite stunned that I had spoken to him.

When he looked up I realized that Alexander had hazel eyes which kind of looked adorable. We continued walking past the hallways which had pictures of our moms and dads when they were in school. The walls also had a surprising amount of mirrors on them. They were probably for the students to check their appearance in the middle of the way to class.
