Open in starling city as Joanna is riding her motorcycle in town when Oliver's phone goes off they pull over to answer

Joanna: (putting the phone to her ) I was supposed to have lunch with her today
Thea: (on phone) she said she left you both five massages look you both just bite the bullet and have a Cobb salad with the woman
Joanna: (on the phone ) you know thea sometimes it's difficult to remember which one of you are our mother (hangs up )
Cut to Queen consolidated as Moira is talking to a Mr. Copani about business as a stranger on a motorcycle comes by and shot Mr. Copani and Moira falls not injured but Mr. Copani falls down dead as Joanna tries to warn everyone Joanna runs to her mom to see if she's alright
Joanna: mom are you okay
Moira: I'm alright
Joanna: are you hurt
Moira: I'm fine
Joanna: are you sure
Moira: I'm fine I I'm fine (as security comes in )
Joanna: (looks at them ) call 911 ( and goes after him she throws a rod into his motorcycle tire but gets away)
(Opening credits arrows )
Cut to starling hospital as doctors are looking over Moira as Joanna oliver and thea walk into her room
Joanna: hi are you okay
Moira: I'm fine I'm fine (looking at Thea) did you reach Walter
Thea: no I'm sorry
Doctor: as I was telling your mother and bother and sister the CAT scan showed a grade two concussion she can go home so long as someone stays at home with her just to make sure there are no after effects
Oliver: I'll cancel my plans to see Laurel tonight
Moira: no it's okay oliver Joanna and thea will stay with me go see Laurel it fine
Oliver: are you sure
Moira: yes I'll be okay go
Oliver: okay (looking at thea and Joanna ) call me if anything happens okay
Joanna: of course
Thea: yeah defiantly go (oliver leaves )
Joanna: I'm sorry I shouldn't have left you I thought you were fine

Joanna: yeah I wanted to get the license plate of the guy who took shot at you
Moira: well that was foolish
Joanna: yeah (she hugs her )
Then Joanna and Thea walk out in the hallway
Thea: so did you get the license plate
Joanna: no he got away
Thea: maybe you should spend a little less time trying to be a hero you're obviously not very good at it
Joanna: cute
Thea: I wasn't trying to be you left her on the street alone and hurt in the street (smirks) to get a license plate
