Friday came quickly, a bittersweet end to the stressful week that Kei had. During work, he received the phone call that told him his headphones and phone were available for pick up. Tsukishima pressed a thin smile onto his face before clacking the phone back onto the receiver and finishing work.

The drive to Yamaguchi's electronic store was quiet, there were only a few other passengers on the bus to that side of town, so Kei had some time to run over his thoughts, one by one.

Yamaguchi's nice. Pretty too.

Eventually deciding that his thoughts late in the afternoon weren't something to actually think about, Kei got off at his stop. Jogging toward the brightly decorated electronic store.

"Good aft- Oh! Tsukishima! I have your stuff right here, it's all intact again." Yamaguchi smiled and slid the headphones toward Kei on the counter.

Kei noticed that the phone facing him was most definitely not his original cellphone.

"Is this the wrong phone?" Kei's eyebrows perked up.

"Oh, that..." Yamaguchi laughed sheepishly "Well your phone was really broken, and I already had a new shipment of these coming in anyways, so I just, gave it to you for free...maybe."

"You didn't have to do that." Kei's mouth felt dry, nobody showed him that amount of politeness, ever.

"I'm sorry, I have your original phone if you'd rather, erm, but this one's on the house!" He shrugged his shoulders defensively.

"Thank you, Yamaguchi. It's nice." Sincerity didn't come naturally to Kei, but he produced it from time to time.

"Really?! Oh thank god, I was worried, ya know!" Tadashi slid the receipt into Tsukishima's hand, brushing his fingers against the blonde's.

The reciept read nothing, just a small smiley face and a poorly drawn thumbs up.

"There's nothing on here?" Tsukishima handed the receipt back to the clerk, who turned red.

"Eh...you don't have to pay, it was easy to fix and I thought it'd be nice." Yamaguchi rubbed the back of his head, looking down.

"Thanks. I guess I owe you one." Tsukishima folded the receipt into his pant pocket, and smirked at the man behind the register.

Before Kei could hear Yamaguchi's blatant protest at Tsukishima owing him something, he was out the door, briskly walking back to the train station.

When Kei reached the final destination that was his apartment, he immediately pulled out the brand new smartphone, and fixed pair of headphones. He plugged the cord into the charger port once more and turned the volume up so he wouldn't hear anything going on outside. Kei sprinted to sit on his bed, taking precautions in case his hand started shaking again. He didn't have to re-download anything, Yamaguchi must have transferred everything from Kei's old phone to his new one.

Tsukishima smiled in relief, Yamaguchi was really helpful, and he was glad. He pressed down on the newest playlist he had made, titled 'Work w/o overgrown fetuses' and let the first song fill his ears. Kei took a deep breath, finally able to calm down after the socially awkward catastrophe that was his work week. Kei's phone buzzed.
