All I've ever known is white. White. I don't know how I ended in this room. This gloomy, terrible, tradic, isolated room.

I can only pray I'll be able to get out someday. The only person... well, thing in the room I have to talk to is a voice in the wall. I've gotten used to the pasty food here that stings my mouth when it touches my lips.

Thoughts swirl through my brain and stay. I touch the wall firmly and pound against it with my darkened knuckles that are turning red. I slip my fingers down the wall and kneel down to stop myself from shaking with agony. My eyes water uncontrollably and my lips shake with fear that I'll never get out of this terrible place. I scan the room for a way out, but for the past 14 years I still haven't found a way out. My birthday is today, December 21st, and the voice in the wall greets me with beeps and I get extra pasty food.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see a note, it looks like I can touch it but it is in the wall. It reads "I wish you luck getting out of this place." I shake my head wondering what this note is about, "I had experienced this nightmere once, there for certain is a way out. I know you can do it, Ellie." No one has written their name on the note. Before I received the note, I couldn't remember my name, now I know that someone knows my name.

Ellie. Ellie is my name. I have never heard that word before.

There is a way out. I just have to search harder than I did when I was young.
