IT WAS TOURNAMENT DAY and Sensei Lawrence was no where to be seen. the last they'd heard from him was when Miguel called him and asked if he would take Y/N to the hospital and even then Johnny barely said a word.
"Where's Sensei?" Hawk asked worriedly, "The tournaments starting soon."
"He'll be here." Aisha insisted.
"I don't know about that." Bert confessed, he knew something they didn't.
Aisha furrowed her brows in confusion, "What are you talking about?"
"I saw him last night at the mini mall. I was buying a carton of milk when I saw him wasted throwing beer and breaking glass." Bert announced, thinking back on when he purchased that porn magazine.
"Why didn't tell us earlier?" Aisha asked, they hadn't trained this hard only to have it ripped away from them.
"I don't know. I guess I'm used to seeing him drunk, it didn't seem like a big deal." Bert looked down at the ground in embarrassment.
"Well ,we're here, and he's not. So it's officially a big deal. What if something happened to him?" Eli asked, causing Bert to shrink back in fear.
"Like what?"
Hawk shrugged, "Like he drove off a cliff, or bought a gun and blew his brains out."
Aisha shook her head, "No. Sensei would never kill himself. That's too pussy a move."
"Whatever. I mean, we're here. We're going to have to do it without him." Eli declared and just as the words fell from his lips someone else spoke up.
"Do what without me?"
Aisha sighed, "Sensei."
Hawk scoffed, "We didn't think you were going to show up."
"I may not always win but I never back out of a fight." Johnny turned around and made a gesture with his hand. "I brought someone."
Everyone turned and faced the Y/H/C haired girl. Her arm was in a cast and she was dressed up in her normal clothes.
Hawk smiled, "She's competing?"
"Great, lets sign up." Miguel muttered but Johnny stopped him.
"There's one last lesson I have to teach you." Johnny stated, motioning for the others to follow him.
