Syphon's POV:

I threw Jackson and Sarah the book and started fighting the monsters as Emma got up and took out her dagger. We had cut down at least half of the monsters when I heard Emma yell for behind me, as I turned around I saw what I feared most. "Emma." I said as I stared at the sword. "I'm sorry." She said as she feel to the ground. I could feel the ground start to shake as skeletons crawled out of the cracks and cut down the last of the monsters. I went over to Emma and held her as I felt her stop breathing and began to cry. It must have been thirty minutes before I got up and took her body out of the underwood and buried her on a hillside overlooking the ocean. I just sat there holding her dagger before walking into the shadow I came from and living. I walked out of a shadow at the empire state building and saw a man in black jacket wearing a breathing mask. "Hello son of Hades." The man said as he turned to me. "Who are you?" I asked looking him over "Bane." He said as he took a canister out of his pocket. I looked around to see if there was anyone else but we were the only two on the ground floor. "What are you doing?" "Don't worry no one's left to miss you." He said as he dropped the canister and it began releasing some sort of gas. I quickly jumped into a shadow to avoid it. "You can't run forever." He said as he looked around the room expecting me to jump him. I opened a shadow underneath him and he feel through as I went to where it led. I walked out of the shadow and pulled out my sword. "Who are you?" I said as I pinned him to a wall. we were in a abandoned auto shop. "I'm Bane, son of Athena and Kratos." He said as I noticed the left side of his face was scarred from theired degree burns. "And former general in Kronos's army." He said as he head butted me. I stumbled back as he tackled me to the ground and put a revolver to my head. "That's first." I said as I kicked him off me and grabbed my sword. "But you won't beat me." "I think I will." He said as he put his gun in his holster and pulled out a sword with the crest of Athena at the base of the blade as red lightning crackled all over the blade. I wasn't expecting that I thought as are blades clashed sending sparks everywhere and we began to fight. I was able to knock the sword out of his hand as I pinned him back against the wall and stabbed him in his left scarring it further. "You'll regret that." Bane said as he took out another canister and opened it next to my face. "Agh!" I feel to the ground coughing as he kicked me in the side. "You obey me now." He said as my once brown eyes turned black. "Yes." I said getting up I'd lost al control of my body. "Good, now kill Jackson Shadow at any cost." I nod and leave through a shadow. "You'll pay for what you did Jackson." I heard Bane say as I left.
