Chapter 5: Choices

*you walked over to the couch and say down beside Hayes and another boy. It was Jack Dail. He was cute and around the same age.*

Jack D: so (y/n) you staying for the barbecue?
Y: ye. How about you?
JD: yep were all camping out in the back yard tonight.
Y: oh cool

*you could feel hayes' arm against yours. Almost like he was pushing against it.*

JD: you should stay too. You can stay in my tent if you want *winks*
Y: I'll ask my mom later

*it was now 8pm. Everyone had ate the barbecued food. The parents stayed outside, talked and had a few drinks. The kids all went into the living room and watched a movie. They had all the blankets out on the sofas and mattresses on the floor. There was enough room for everyone. You walked in with a drink of coke and looked for a seat. Hayes was sitting on the 2 sweater couch alone and patted it for you to sit with him. You walked over and sat beside him and he covered you with the blanket. Then Nash turned the movie on*

Y: *whispers* this is kinda scary
H: *whispers* ye, if you get scared don't be afraid to hug me haha

*you snuggled in against Hayes and he put his arm over you. He placed his hand on your waist. You felt save. You could see JD (Jack Dail) on one of the mattresses looking up at you.*

Y: *whispers to hayes.* can I go get another coke?
Hayes: sure come back though.

*you walked out to the kitchen. You could see all the parents outside at the end of the yard at the little fire on there lawn chairs. Then you heard someone walk into the kitchen. There was only a little light from a few candles and the fire outside. But it looked like JD.*

JD: hey (y/n)
Y:hey JD
JD: can you hand me a drink. And put it in a glass ?
Y: sure thing.

*you went over to the sink to wash a cup and all of a sudden felt arms wrap around your waist. It was nice so you didn't stop it. He kissed your cheek and you smiled and blushed. He turned you around and lifted you on top of the counter beside the sink. He looked into your eyes and smiled. Then at your lips. He leaned in and kissed you. The kiss lasted about 10 seconds. Then you pulled away*

JD: why?
Y: because there's someone else. *You grabbed your drink and went back to hayes.*

* when you walked in Hayes smiled at you. You walked over and say back with him. Hayes was the someone else. He put his arm back around you but this time his hand was on your thigh*

Hayes: *whispers* this is nice.
Y: ye. Especially with you.

*hayes kissed your forehead. You kiss his cheek. Then you grab his hand and slowly fall asleep against him.*

H; wake up sleepy
Y: huh ?...
H: you fell asleep on me haha. The movies over. It's 10:30? You staying over with us?
Y: ye I'll grab my brothers tent.

* you ran over to your house and took the tent. You went into your room and put on grey sweatpants, white rank top and tied your hair up in a messy bun. Then put hayes sweatshirt back on. You went back over to the house and walked in. There was a few girls there now. One was hugging hayes. You felt jealous even though he's not yours and they're just hugging.*

H: hey (y/n) this is Madison, Mahogany, Maggie and Maddi.
Y: hey. They staying too?
H: yep now you won't have to worry about being the only girl haha. *hugs you*

* you set up your tent, blankets and pillow. You could see out if the corner of your eye hayes and Madison flirting*

Y: *under breathe* I guess we both have choices.
