Manik's POV:

It's been three days since I last saw her. The thought of storming into her cabin and kissing the hell out of her did cross my mind a lot of times, but I didn't want to complicate things.

Last time, I tried to explain her but she didn't listen.

This time she has to come. This time she has to take the initiative. It's a high time now, she has to get over of her insecurities and If she wants us to mind our own business then, that's what I’m doing right now and I’ll do.

"Hey, Manik." I heard Soha's voice and looked up to see her standing in front of me.

Did she enter my cabin without my permission? Or I was so busy that I didn't hear the knock?

"I knocked a few times, but you didn't respond, So I came to check on you." She said and looked down at me smiling. I noticed she is looking different than usual. She is wearing a low cut blouse that showed her cleavage and it is so unlike her.

Come on! I know her since childhood. She's not like this.

"Hey, Soha," I said.

"Are you busy?" She asked coming close to me, touching my shoulder lightly and I gave her a tight smile.

"Well, not really," I said, letting out a huge breath.

You're in mess dude!

Something is definitely not right.

"Umm...I was wondering... Umm... If you like to go out with me sometime? Um... I mean it's been long we had to spend time... So.." She asked, playing with the ends of her hair.

"And I knew it." I mentally palmed my face.

I need to stop her!

"Umm... I'm sorry, Soha, you're my friend and I don't want to give you any false hope. I like someone." I uttered and saw her eyes widened in utter shock.

"I don't know what exactly is going between us but one thing I'm sure about is that she's special." I continued, scratching my forehead, hoping that she would understand and let this go.

"I didn't know that," She mumbled, not meeting my gaze and I stood up from my seat.

"We will always be good friends, Soha. And trust me, you're a very nice girl, it's just that I never saw you in that way," I explained, and she nodded with a small smile even though her face fell a bit.
