"You're up in five guys,be prepared."loud voice from one of the staff who was working backstage,trying to make a present through the hectic and noisy crowd.The music was blasting along with a very big crowd of people outside,in the arena,waiting for a group of seven gorgeous males to go up on the stage and show their amazing and stunning performance.
It was their world tour 'Love yourself' the first day to be exact.Everyone was exited.The thrill and excitement make their heart beat fast.
The first song to perform after their 10 minutes of break is dope,the boys perfectly killed all the choreography while their voice still very much steady.Right after that,attack on bangtan start playing and they—just like every other time going around,interacting with Army and dance their heart out.
Finally it was Jungkook's part.A part where he always goof around with Taehyung.The older as usual went to him waiting for the brown hair male to grab his hand with his boxy smile.
However,his beautiful smile soon turn into a slight frown once Jungkook walked past him and grab Jimin's hand instead.
That one move shocked both Jimin and Yoongi who stood there watching them.Attack on bangtan has always been a Taekook's song to goof around and everyone knows this.Even armies were surprised by the sudden changed.
Quickly hiding his disappointment with his younger's friend gestured,he continued performing not wanting their fan to suspect anything.
Jungkook might want to do something new for his fan or a fan service you could say.And Taehyung know he has no say in it.After all they're just friends.
The next day same things happened.
It was a week after when they have to perform in a new city.
This past week,Jungkook has been distancing herself from Taehyung and everyone does notice that.This really hurt the second youngest.He has tried to get closed,asking the younger to go out and eat together like they used to,whenever they're on tour—only to be rejected.
Finally their concert day arrived.Like always everyone slayed the performance.
Attack on bangtan was yet again play.
Taehyung was sitting on his usual place,but this time he doesn't feel the excitement whatsoever.When Jungkook start singing his part and walk towards him.Quickly,he went forward to the other side,doesn't want to feel the aching of his heart again when the younger walk past him to Jimin.
What he doesn't know was,Jungkook was trying to walk towards him this time and not the other 95 male.
Can't blame him though,he has witnessed his long time crush ignored him for almost two weeks and make their 'iconic thing' with someone else.
After the concert ended,everyone prepared themselves to go back to the hotel.Taehyung was the first one to leave, not uttered a single words.
The members sigh.Taehyung is their source of happiness and now that he becomes so quiet and distant the group also becomes dull.
Jungkook too,sigh.
He know what he did was not the right thing.He could see the pain in the elder's eyes and it truly shattered his heart.
He love the older,not a brotherly love but in a romantic way but he was too scared to confess.Afraid he might ruin their long time friendship but now that he has seen those painful eyes looking at him,he came to realized that Taehyung might have felt the same.
But still,he has not enough courage to confess.He is a coward,he knows.
Every single day guilt keep gaining and it's worse when the always bubbly Taehyung became quite and distant.He knows he has to do something.After all,he's the cause of his hyung's sadness.
Taehyung who just come out of the bathroom creased his eyebrows together in confusion once he heard the doorbell ring.
He's pretty much sure he didn't order anything from room service and the members for sure won't ring the bell.They most likely annoy the hell out of him by doing something weird.
Nonetheless,he walk to the door and opened it.To his surprise the person stood in front of him right now is the least person he wanted to see.
"What do you want?" Taehyung didn't mean it to come out that harsh,he himself is not sure why the tone is so cold.Maybe because the memories that flashed in front of his eyes when he see the younger.
"I—uh—can we talk please?"Jungkook is hurt,though he knows in someway,he deserve this.Still,the emotionless expression on Taehyung's face pained him.Knowingly and unknowingly his coward actions caused someone's misery and now it slowly becomes his misery.
Moving to the side as a gesture of letting the younger in,the said male quickly entered the older's room.
"I'm sorry."was the first thing Jungkook uttered once Taehyung closed the door.
"What for?" Though he might have a slight bit idea of what the apologize is for he still wanna hear it along with the reasons why.
"F-for ignoring you and hurting you while we were performing."throughout the whole sentence Jungkook didn't dare to look up,too ashamed to do so.
"Why?"
"B-because..."
"Because?" Taehyung's deep voice and intense stare send shivers down his spine.He felt goosebumps all over his body.Sweat start dripping.
"BecauseIlikeyouandIthinkyoudontfeelthesamesoitrytoignoreyou."in one breath faster than Agust D,he let it all out.
"Pardon?" Taehyung was trying to control his lip from curling upward.The anger and sadness has vanished by all the younger's cuteness.
He knows he's a weak man.Especially when it come to Jungkook.
But he still has to act tough.He doesn't want to give in that fast.
"I-I said I like you,hyungie a-and I don't think you might feel t-the same so I try to ignore you."his cheek flashed red and Taehyung was trying his absolute best not to coo.
"And who are you to assumed thing about me?"
"I'm sorry."
"You don't even know how hurt I felt when u ignored me."
"I'm so sorry hyungie."
"I like you too Jungkookie."
"I'm so-"Jungkook's eyes went wide opened.
"R-Really?"Taehyung hummed in response before putting his index finger under the younger's chin,lifting his head up.
"Look at me,I like-no I love you Jungkookie,so much.And it pained me a lot to see you did that.So please never ignore hyung again hm?"
"I won't,promise."and Taehyung filled the space between them,connecting his and Jungkook's lip.Kissing each other passionately.
The two broke the kiss after five minutes,panting- trying to catch their breath.
"Now you have to make up to me by hurting my heart."
"What should I do hyungie?"his big does eyes look curiously while asking.Taehyung due to cuteness,left another peck on his lip before smiling widely with his boxy smile.
"Be my boyfriend."
