Chapter 2: Scale 2 Pendulum's first swing

Stadium

Strong Ishijima was standing on a large castle surrounded by woods he had a stern look on his face. The Stadium was packed with people. Everone was there to see the duel between Yuya and Ishijima.

However Yuya had not arrived yet. Rin was starting to get worried for her childhood friend. "Yuya," she mutters to herself as she clutches her pendant. It was a gift from Yuya's father before he disappeared.

People began to shout asking were Yuya was or calling him a coward. If Gongenzaka or her father weren't around she bash a few of there heads right about now.

"Don't worry Rin. This man Gongenzaka knows that Yuya will show up," Gongenzaka says to Rin.

"I'm going to go look for him," Rin says As she starts to get up, but before she could she saw a clown come up from behind Ishijima and started to make faces at him.

Soon everyone in the stadium was yelling at Ishijima to turn around. When he did he saw the clown. "Are you Yuya Sakaki?" Ishijima demanded. The clown removed his mask to reveal Yuya's grinning face.

"Sorry for my tardiness but I would be honored if you would have a duel with me," Yuya said as he bowed to Ishijima as he activates his Duel Disk, ready to Duel.

"Let's see how great you are." He says.

"You better know where your place is." Ishijima says irritated.

He activates his own Duel Disk and says, "I will show you the skills of a pro and give you some discipline."

Yuya smiles at the statement.

"Despite Yuya's late appearance Strong Ishijima has excepted Yuya's challange," Nico Smiley said.

"Duelists meet on the battlefield along with their monsters, kicking across the earth and fly across the air! While encouraging the audience to fix their eyes on the "ultimate evolution of Dueling," the Action... "DUEL!" Yuya and the Sledgehammer yell. Nico snaps his fingers and Action Cards are scattered throughout the battlefield.

Yuya: 4000 LP

Ishijima: 4000 LP

I'll take the first move, and I show the audience what a classic Action Duel looks like," Yuya says as he walks up to a zip line and slides down it.

This shocked both Ishijima and the audience.

"For my first performance I'll start off by summoning Performapal Hip Hippo

(ATK:800/DEF:800 LV:3)"

Yuya then jumps off the zipline and lands on his hippo. He turns back towards the castle. "With that I end my turn," Yuya says as he and his hippo run off into the forest.

A man in the audience was complaining that Yuya was running away like Yusho did. This caused Rin to get upset but her father to calm her down.

"What is he doing?" Rin asked clutching her pendant.

"This man Gongenzaka thinks that Yuya should fight Ishijima proudly," Gongenzaka said.

"It's my turn now I draw," Ishijima said as he drew the top card from his deck. "I use the Spell Card "Feast of the Wild LV5", I can Special Summon two Level 5 Warrior-Type monsters from his hand with their effects negated. I Summon "Barbarian #1"(ATK:1550/DEF:1800 LV:5) and "Barbarian #2"(ATK:1800/DEF:1500 LV:5)"

As the Barbarians jump to the ground, he says, "I release them to Advance Summon Barbarian King! (ATK:3000/DEF:1100 LV:8)

The Barbarian King appears and pushes several trees out of the way and roars.
