After I arrived at hogwarts, me, Luna and cho were on our way to our dorm when I tripped onto Draco Malfoy. I didn't realise who it was until he helped me back up of his shoulders. "I'm s-so sorry" I said as we looked into each others eyes. "Oh-no it's fine" he said while he stared at me. We carried on walking opposite directions and me and the girls giggled at how I fell. I looked back at Draco and realised he was staring at me to that surprise we just smiled at each other then I waved good bye.

The next day in dada class (defence against the dark arts) with Professor Lupin. He chose were we sat and turns out I was sat next to Malfoy. It was so awkward because we both know we had felt a spark whenever we talked. As I was taking notes he eventually said "you actually like this class!?" in a joking way.
"Well I just don't want to fail ALL of my classes do I" I also said in a joking way. He just smiled at me and turned back to his work. We were both looking at each other trying not to get caught by the other one. "Why do you stare at me?" He said kindly.
" I'm just checking to see if you're still doing your work" I said but he new I was lying.

Fast forward a few months later after we had been flirting the whole term the yule ball was coming up.
"So Hermione, who are you going to the ball with?"
"Uum it's a surprise" she said nervously.
"Um ok what about you Ginny?"
"I don't even know yet but I need to find a date soon" " why who do you want to go with?"
"It's Malfoy isn't it!" Hermione basically screamed back. " you two have been flirting all term!"
" will you be mad if I said it was?" I nervously said back.
" not at all it's your date not ours"
" thanks you guys! Anyway we better be getting to class soon"

* after class at lunch you are sat with cho*
"I know right like who does- I got interrupted by Draco. " um Y/n meet me at the astronomy tower at 5 tonight"
"Um ok why?"
"I'm gonna push you of"
" wait I did not sign up for this!?"
"I'm joking I just want to talk"
" oh ok sure!"
Me and cho smiled at each other and laughed after he walked away.

*at 5 on your way to the astronomy tower*

I come up the steps and see Draco stood there waiting for me. "hi" I said.
"Oh y/n you came" Draco said back.
"So what did you wanna talk about"
"Um- well I've been thinking about this for a while now and-um well- do you want to go to the ball with me?"
"OMG YES OFC!!" I said in an overload of excitement. I jumped into a hug onto Draco and he hugged me back. He slowly lifted my head up and softly kissed me. He pulled away then i just looked at him and kissed him again but this time a bit harder. "Cmon!" he said dragging my arm in a playful loving way. *by this point it was nearly dark out. We ran around the castle together then Draco brought me to his dorm. We both just lay on his bed looking at the roof while listening to a song together (yellow by Coldplay). I then fell asleep on his shoulder as the song finished and I didn't here him whisper " look at the stars look how they shine for you...and everything that you do"
